Bradley Beal has considerably more trade value for the Washington Wizards than John Wall.

"I think the Bradley Beal situation we'll monitor," said Adrian Wojnarowski. "There's very few teams who wouldn't be interested in Bradley Beal. The contract. The player. The age. 25 years old. His skill set. Shooting threes. I know Washington has fielded a lot of calls since last week,

"John Wall is a very different situation," said Wojnarowski. "You can count on one hand, and probably with just a couple of fingers places that really might have interest in taking his contract on and what it all means to bring him in.

"I would never say there's no market for John Wall, but I think Bradley Beal has a much broader market. But if Washington was going to do something, they would have to get every last asset they could for Bradley Beal."

Nobody wants to take John Wall's massive contract. Despite his talents, his impact to the team seems minimal. His lack of development with the outside shooting is a concern too.

So most likely Beal is gone and the Wizards have to rebuild around Wall. They should move Porter and Oubre too.

it really is a ridiculous contract

He has no business making that much money. Wizards really messed up by not moving him before they let that contract be a thing

Zach Lowe did really good analysis on him. Wall never had the right environment to be leader. First it was the Gilbert Arenas years, then it was years of dysfunction with a bunch of boneheads, and now a potential contender squandered by a number of poor management decisions (Mahinmi, wasting 1st round picks...).

Hoping the guy somehow manages to get to a decent team. Love his defense.

Fultz + Chandler for Wall - who says no?

Wall, Redick, Butler, Simmons, Embiid

The 76ers. John Wall's supermax hasn't even kicked in yet. He's just owed too much money. Besides, they'd be better if getting a shooter to round out that lineup.

Doesn't Butler already put them over the tax line? Is that roster gonna cost more than the Warriors in a year?

Few teams interested in him is a few more than I thought existed.

Speaking of which... I wonder if they would be interested. Would Anderson and Jackson for Wall and filler make sense? That would be a pretty dynamic backcourt for the Suns, and Washington saves a ton of money and gets the #4 pick in Jackson.

Then they can move either Porter or Beal for another shorter contract and some picks.

Can't imagine they could get an asset like Jackson with Walls contract, they are more likely to have to add talent to get rid of him than being able to take top end talent back.

Sixers and probably Wizards.  Besides his contract being horrendous, Wall would be a terrible fit for the Sixers.  They'd be better off trading for Porter.  Wizards would have a hard time getting so little for Wall even if it gets him out of his contract.

I think Fultz loses value every day.
