I will leave out ‘recent’ and say...John Havlicek. Their games are different, but something in how Gordon moves, plus the great shooting touch...but that’s just me.

LOL Hayward in the playoffs 2 years ago literally averaged 24/6/4 (and technically it should have been 26/7/5 if you removed that 1 game he left in after just 9 minutes due to food poisoning), and won them the first round. It's not his fault his 2nd round opponent was Golden State, but IIRC even in that series he averaged 25/4/4 and was the only reason some of those games that series was even close, otherwise Utah's blown out by 20+ in all of them.

Turner NEVER in his career has ever been looked at as an all-star caliber player or a #1, let alone Top-2 option on a legitimate playoff team.

I completely agree with you that contract-year Gordon Hayward put up some very impressive individual numbers in the first round of the playoffs against an imploding Clippers team. 

However, It's hard to ignore the glaring fact that Hayward's Utah teams only made the playoffs twice in 7 years and got swept in the first and second round respectively.

Evan Turner (drafted the same year as Hayward) has made the playoffs 7 times with 4 different teams...

Gordon Hayward could easily be looked at as overrated, besides that playoff run which he had bad games in, what has he done exactly?

Ray Allen had to become the 3rd fiddle on this team at 32 years old, and is way better than Hayward will be as a Celtic.

I am not saying I am right, but I am predicting that he wont be nearly as good as he was in the playoffs which is the only thing you can point to.

While he has been a good player, nothing jumps out at you when you look at the stats.

HE is an ok player,a decent 3 best player that wont win a ring.
