We drafted Robert Williams to play against the long young centers in the NBA but he doesn't even dress for games....

Well if we are going to lose by 20+ to the knicks either way, then sure, might as well play Williams.

Watching on a bit of a delay, but yet another example of our brilliant coaching staff just completely failing to have our guys ready.

And how many bad habits they've picked up is beyond me. I've counted at least a half dozen instances where our guys have had a layup and kicked it out for a three. And this isn't even mentioning the fact of there being no offensive discipline of our guys. While Smart is pretty much the only guy giving heart on both sides of the ball tonight, the fact that he can come down and jack up a pull up three on an offensive rebound with 12+ seconds left on the shot clock with impunity is inexcusable. Missing free throws and open shots like they're halfcourt heaves - clearly it's in our heads at this point, and this is something our coaching staff should be addressing.

We're down by nearly 30 at halftime to a scrub Knicks team. It's time for a change in coaching. Stevens needs to be on the hot seat, because he's failing this team and it's clear that the players are simply not responding to him.

I still have confidence they'll be good come Playoff time.

It's just that it gets lower and lower every game.

Your numbers are dwindling

Exactly. At least he brings energy, I'd also like to see Semi, Yabu and Wannamaker get some time. The Celtics need some energy, badly...

The biggest difference to me is last years team was out there having fun and this years team is tight and not enjoying playing basketball. Watch a game from last year with all the emotion and guys playing loose and smiling then watch any game from this year.

I don't know what exactly is causing it but to me that's the difference I see.

True

Cut it to 16 by the half.  Tons of time to win this game.

Kantor is in there for offensive rebounds. Maybe box him out once in a while?

How do you even explain this ?
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

We’re letting other teams guards get way to much penetration early in clock and we are walking ball up forcing late offense

I miss the energy that Shane Larkin used to bring last year. No one is doing that this year....
