I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Yikes down 16 to the Knicks... This is pathetic. Any team in the nba can beat us right now.

What we lack is a guy like Larry bird who played with the same competitive drive regardless of who the opponents are.
Every team lacks a Larry Bird lol

Lol I don't mean literally. Just a leader with a strong competitive drive day in day out, we don't have it.
Lol ik, was just joking for a bit. I'd trade Hayward, Kyrie and Horford for prime Larry Bird though

Oh yea I would make that trade in a split second.

Prime Larry Bird in today's NBA rules would be even more amazing and unstoppable than he was in his era. I'd trade anybody in the league today for prime Larry Bird.

When the top defensive team in the league suddenly allows 65 pts in the first half alone to a team that barely scores 50 then you have a problem.

Burying ourselves and trying to get out of this pitting quicksand we are in is always a bad thing.

I frankly have no idea to fix this as we are getting the shots we wanted but not making them... But to let a scrub team score at will.. Then there is something really wrong with the Cs.
The offense is stil the issue.  I honestly think the bad offense is affecting the defense as well.

I'm not sure what I'm more disappointed by, our defense or our offense.  According to Mike the Knicks have been giving up 125 points per game on their 6 game losing streak.  We mustered 18 in the 1st quarter.

But watching our defense give up so many points to Burke, Vonleh, and Robinson is pretty nausea-inducing as well.

Just tough to watch.
It’s all connected.  Hopefully someone is threw some chairs around in the locks room at half.

If the C's don't come out of the half with great intensity, I think it would be safe to assume that there's serious discord between the players and/or coaching staff.  Being down like this to a lowly Knicks team at home shouldn't sit well with anyone, and quite honestly it shouldn't take a situation like this to play hard.

Please pass the ball.  Those first two offensive possessions were terrible.

Kyrie, Hayward, Morris, Tatum, and Horford to start. I like it, at least short-term. We have to start games better now.

And now Brown in a minute into the game for Tatum? Finally making a statement to the young guys?

Horford passes out to a Hayward three when he had an open lane to the basket... I don't remember Big Al being like that before this year.

I could quite seriously see him averaging 35/12 plus however many assists he could muster. The increased 3 ball dependency, the ticky tacky fouls and his insane efficiency would blow this league to pieces.
