I can't help but wonder what this board would have been like in the 1980s.

Danny Ainge took fewer than 200 three-point shots total over the first five years of his career, so those percentages don't mean much.

That response is too grounded in reality. Reactionary hot takes only.

"He has potential to be really good."

If Jaylen Brown is your worst starter, you have a fantastic team.

In the playoffs, we relied on him to be our second-best at times and the burden to create offensively was too much for him.

Next season when he can play alongside Kyrie’s instant offense and Hayward’s methodical approach, he can ease into a role he should be much more comfortable with, letting his offense come to him. Continue to work on his range and dribbling, and he will be just fine.

 While I agree with your overall point, I do disagree with the bolded part. Jaylen was our primary scorer throughout most of the playoffs, and he exceeded expectations.

I agree with this. Tatum wasn't really all that assertive until the last handful of games in the Cleveland series, and Horford was....well, Horford. The fact that Brown achieved most of that on a dodgy hamstring is also remarkable.

Tatum was a rookie, Brown was a 2nd year player who was behind the curve in his development coming out of college.

Yet here we are at the end of a playoff run, without our 2 best players, and they were our 2 leading scorers, taking turns carrying our offense.

You have to be one pessimistic individual to not be happy about these 2 and the direction of the franchise.
