I don't know about what he'll average stat-wise, but I expect him to become more of a go-to guy.  The type of player that you can just give the ball to down the stretch when you really need a bucket.
The problem is we will have 3 guys in the starting lineup in Hayward, Irving and Tatum that aren't on the court for their defense. Not sure how well this is going to work out.
Well I'd be surprised if it works out worse than starting Terry Rozier and Marcus Morris.

I see Tatum in the high teens with good efficiency, along with Hayward and Brown. Horford in that 10-12 range.

I see Kyrie as the only player in the 20s. Sometimes he just gets greedy with the shots.

Hayward is a good (if unspectacular) defender, and Tatum has shown signs of good potential on that end.  Irving is the only one that really worries me on that end, but every member of the potential starting 5 has a bigger positive impact on offense than they do a negative impact on defense
I'm bitter.

I wouldn't be surprised if both Tatum's and Brown's scoring drop just a bit next year, but our overall ppg go up quite a bit.

I see us with (1) 20+ point scorer - Kyrie, and then (3) guys between 15-20 - Gordon / Tatum / Brown.  Al probably is more glue in that lineup with 12-14 ppg.

Tatum / Brown will be better next year, but the overall stats might not show it as much.

I think we might see one more 20 ppg out of that group. Stevens is going to keep one or two playmakers in with his second unit, and the team should score more, so more points to go around. If we were a top offense, we’d have scored about 8 points/game more.

Tatum should focus on two things this offseason. Bulking up to get stronger so he can finish better. Missed too many and one opportunities due to not finishing the layup at the rim. Second he needs to improve his free throw shooting. No reason he can't be a 90+% shooter. Although his overall percentage was good at 85, he missed some in very important moments through the year and a little more work he can be great at it. That's kind of nitpicky though because he did such amazing things this year it's hard to be too upset. He's a multi season all star for sure.

Was just thinking Tatum could bump his TS% up a couple points, north of 60%, in which case we could have three guys above 60: Irving (61% this year), Hayward (.595 last year). That would be awesome.

Wondered how the GSW compared. Answer: Curry (.675!), Durant (.640), Thompson (.598). Yikes. Luckily, we seem to be more than the sum of our parts and should have better depth than GS next year.

Mine are really really high.

He should be our #2 scoring option and I'd like to see the ball in his hands a lot because I think his passing vision is something that has been a bit underutilized both here and at Duke.

Put on 5-10 pounds of muscle and frow another 2 inches.
He isn't growing. He didn't grow a lick between ages 18 and 19.

Not sure if that's true, but he didn't say "grow."

He wants Tatum to grow a 2 inch frow.

I think an 8 inch frow would be cool. He would look like Josh Jackson.

Is it too much to expect Tatum to make all star team next year? If the Celtics is top of east, it’s possible we have 4 all stars, outside LBJ and Greek freak, Tatum and Hayward will be 3rd/4th best forward in the east.

Scores 73 points in Game 7 to beat the Warriors, despite suffering second-degree burns on over 80% of his body after rushing into a burning building to save a child, a puppy and the puppy’s squeaky toy.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I don't think Tatum has any glaring weaknesses and his strength in scoring the ball should only get better with more training time. If there is one thing he could work on, it is being more assertive in the offense. He has a killer instinct in him that only shows its face sometimes. Obviously being a rookie, it is hard to be confident all the time. With more experience, he can be a monster and an unstoppable force. I fully expect him to be an All-Star next season and will be pretty disappointed if he doesn't make it.
