Davis would have better shot at winning a title in Boston than LA..who else does LA have beside crybaby James?
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

If the Pels wanted to take the Laker deal it would have been done by now.

This is the reason the SI article dropped. It was public pressure on the Cs but as well as the Pels to take the Laker offer.

Griffin is an Ainge guy. He wants Tatum. Danny is not going to give him up because of the risk AD leaves. Lakers are leverage and a last resort.

TBH Brown, Smart and the #14 pick is still better than what the Lakers are offering.

Lakers can beat that easily.

How so?

Lakers can see that package and raise it with Ingram Ball Kuzma Hart and #4 pick

Maybe...but they are not including either Kuzma or Hart

Danny do not overpay....you cannot trade Tatum for a rental after trading another Bklyn pick for a rental. KG and Truth did not give you those gifts to be squandered.

Too many twists and turns to this negotiation. I am def leaning towards the youth movement here in Boston because I don't think AD will bring us a title in his most likely one year with us.

It'll be interesting to see how far Ainge will go to blow up the team for AD.

I hope Ainge does not get into a manhood measuring contest with Lakers for a player they get next year anyway. Keep the Jays for tge future.

The idea that Kuzma/Hart are the big pieces that will get the Lakers over the hump is weird to me. They're offering the number 4 pick or whatever that pick can be traded for and two number two picks already.

And Ramona Shellburne is now saying Kuzma is not a deal breaker, we know we know...

If the Lakers win but have to give up four young players and the 4th overall they will be considerably weakened.  This would also mean that AD is in the other conference, away from Brooklyn, the NYK and the rest of the Eastern Conference

I think by the draft there will be some clarity. Has to be with the picks involved by whatever team makes the deal.

The coach cannot coach superstars.

Riddle me this, just how good is Brad if this guy never has expectations, but when he does, he fails?

Objectivity over bias; as much as I bash the people who want Kyrie off your team, they have a point. This point is, to keep Kyrie, you must gut the toxic young guys & Brad. Why? This was shown to be a failed experiment with Kyrie on the team.

Unless you can get AD, it would not be the worst idea to let Kyrie walk. I would fire the overrated coach personally. Brad did not need Kyrie, he just needed Kyrie off the team.

If we had Kyrie last year, we sweep you guys. History is the proof. BUT, Kyrie wanted to be a whiny brat, so he got inserted in a worst situation.

Ramona Shelburne:

Quote:
"I don't think Kuzma is a deal breaker. I think it's being reported incorrectly. He's not in the deal, and to even describe it as a deal right now is inaccurate. They just have had conversations on concepts right now."

"If Kuzma is not in the deal I think the Lakers would have to give up something in the future like future draft picks. The Lakers have by far the best package, and they feel like they are in the driver seat."

"My sense from the Pelicans side is that it's more so about the weight of the number of assets. I think Lonzo Ball is a pretty key part of this. I think he's the most important in this deal."

Lebron + AD + who? I think Jimmy Butler is the one guy who is most likely to go there, but that seems like an awkward fit. They would need an elite 3 pt shooter than anything, but I think the world ends before Klay leaves GSW.

Stand strong, Danny. Do not give up Tatum. The fact that all these assets are being thrown around, but the one thing Griffin wants is Tatum shows us just how valuable he is.

In a vacuum I’d prefer to keep Tatum, but Brown might be a better fit to go with a Davis led team.  Especially if Smart is part of the deal I like Brown on D more than Tatum.  I’m torn though. Ha

It would be awesome if the Pels are just teasing the Lakers based on what happened at the trade deadline.
