I can't believe people think Ingram is better lol. He's worth 1.4 W/S, and Tatum is worth 4.0. Literally almost 3x as much, and while Tatum is also the 2nd go to option.

If Ingram and Kuzma were great as Lakers fans make out,  the trade would have been done already . Only in the eyes of Lakers are their assets great....Magic traded Russell , somebody who Lebron could have used .  Lebron needs scorers ....whelpthere was the only true scorer they drafted.  Got rid of him because of Ball ?  Ball can't shoot ,  he needs the ball like Rondo to make plays .....this takes it out of Brons hands .  which is a no no ...ask IT4 .   I am not sure Magic has the sense to come out of the rain.

The Lakers are still glad to engage with the Pelicans on an Anthony Davis trade, but no longer want to bid against themselves, league sources tell ESPN. Lakers are waiting for Pelicans to make a counter-proposal.

Hahaha their entire trade strategy was to bid against themselves by freezing out all other bidders and get a better deal out of it.

This is totally posturing of course, they're going to try again before Thursday afternoon. Glad the Pels are holding firm.

Well, it is going to be an awkward locker room for the Lakers come Thursday night when no trade has been made.

That roster had potential to be highly toxic from the beginning. Imagine it now after LeBron and Magic have been publicly trying to trade three-quarters of the team.

Imagine how desperate the Lakers are now. They had to leak that they've been bidding against themselves.

If Pelicans want to counter the Lakers most recent offer on Davis, Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka are obviously anxious to find a pathway for a trade. This is a negotiation tactic on behalf of Lakers, who have wanted New Orleans to show more initiative in the process.Adrian Wojnarowski added,

Wow. That's gutsy by the Pelicans to not take that massive offer (7 players + 2-4 picks) by LA. Has Ainge promised them something?

He's probably promised them that nothing's off the table.

I wouldn't worry too much if I were NO. That offer will be around over the summer, minus the cap relief.

Count this among the risks for the Pelicans to wait until the summer to deal Anthony Davis - random injuries happen. Wall’s injury is particularly unusual/severe but guys can get hurt while just working out or at home. Could be AD, could be the player you’re waiting to trade for. …

7 players ...meh ...most don't want to even be at NO .  Just a visit for Rondo , Lance , Beas,  Ball won't stay wants trade .  Ingram and Kuzma ....it looks like a thin trade to me unless you add 4 picks .

Thete s abig diff betwwen 2 and 4 picks. , and there is the limits put on them too.  depends on HOW the picks are wriiten up .  And when they kick in etc .  With out a bunch of firsts and couple secs ,  i just hang up on that list ...most which LA or rather Bron doesn't want anyway .  Hart and the young center are the pieces Lakers want to keep with Lebron.   Lakers just unloading all they dead weight on NO. acting like its a mother load ...Meh ..... Lakers to to pay a Nets ransome to get AD

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Quote
Kyle Kuzma- .306 3P/.767 ft

Lonzo Ball- .329 3P/.417 ft

Brandon Ingram- .292 3P/.650 ft

Now our guys:

Jaylen Brown- .328 3P/.679 ft (Has been shooting 38% for the past 30 games, so it'll only go up)

Jayson Tatum- .373 3P/.853 ft

Marcus Smart- .367 3P/.791 ft

And my personal favorite

Aron Baynes- .333 3P/.848 ft (on only .3 less 3PA than Ingram)

With the exception of Brown vs Zo’s 3P% our guys are all better shooters than theirs.

LOL, no wonder why NOP doesn't want any of them.

This isn’t a trade thread I just wanted to point out the Lakers are trash.

AD liked the offer

https://twitter.com/BR_NBA/status/1092873286034341889?s=19

He unliked it now. Not sure why it's being treated as a big deal (not talking about you), him wanting to go to the Lakers is the least mysterious part of the whole mess.
