Broke down and went to LakersGround to see the meltdowns. Man, after how many Ls they’ve taken over the past few years in free agency and trades, whether that be PG, Kawhi, KD refusing a meeting, etc., it’s amazing just how delusional Lakers fans are.

entitlement.

They seriously think all basketball should be played in CA.

Im fine with that , kick LA out of the NBA and they can start their own CA Baketball league .....Oh , ill be sure to get  CA BB league pass.

Shelburne: In other words, this has been remarkably similar to discussions with San Antonio and Kawhi last summer

rust me, several at Pelicans facility like Lakers package (or liked it until LaVar started talking).
But main decision makers (not just Demps, but Gayle & Mickey too) “need to be blown away” to make deal before summer.
Many wonder, why did the Lakers low ball to start? - Fletcher Macke

The thing is , do the Lakers even have anything they can add to their current offer that would blow the Pelicans away? I mean, they reportedly offered all their young players, several 1st round picks, and cap relief. They don't have more or better picks or young players to add.

I guess they could try to trade some other pieces to try and get better picks and prospects from someone else to add to their offer to NO, but I just don't see it. They are not going to get a prospect like Tatum or a stash of potential lottery picks like the picks the Celtics have to offer.

NBA trades are about quality, not quantity. Getting a future star like Tatum plus several picks that could end up in the lottery is MUCH better than getting many mediocre young prospects and late 1st round picks.

Don't know if it has been mentioned, but Solomon Hill played 5 minutes tonight.

It absolutely kills the big media outlet s. that Kyrie is in Boston ....Steven BuTT Smith frowns everytime he has to say the word Celtics .....

Every great player should move to LA and NYC ....thats what the media basically presents with their attitude to smaller market cities , especially in the south.

There is NOT one major TV outlet that ever has anything good to,say about Boston Celtics .  Every media figure is nothing but LA , and NYC this that and the other .    Those scum are on TV even when the teams are tanking .

Unbelievably, there’s also this notion that LA doesn’t get the attention it deserves in the media (😂), and if they were Indiana - yes, you read that right, freaking Indiana - the media would be greatly hyping their assets more than they are now. It’s like good freaking Lord, how delusional and nonsensical can you be?!

They can still add their ‘23 and ‘25 first rounders, and swap rights in 2024.  Also known as the “Brooklyn method”.

Funny thing is, we can easily do that.

I am officially rooting for the following:

NOP trades: Anthony Davis, Solomon Hill

LAL trades: Kuzma, Ingram, Ball, Zubac, Hart, Rondo, Beasley, Lance Stephenson, 2019 + 2021 + 2023 + 2025 firsts, 2024 first (swap rights)

Pull the trigger Magic!

(Pels then counter with “We need you to add Lebron, too”.)
