I'm sure its already been posted but this is where we are at for those who haven't kept up.

Woj: Lakers president Magic Johnson and Pelicans GM Dell Demps have had multiple conversations today, league sources tell ESPN. There's no sense how much progress sides have made progress toward a possible trade, but the Lakers have absolutely gotten more serious in the discussions

Among New Orleans' priorities in an Anthony Davis deal - young players/picks/cap relief - Pels are determined to get back one player w/ All-NBA potential. Do Pels see that in Ingram, Kuzma or Ball? Boston's Jayson Tatum fits mold. Can Pels pry Tatum? All internal Pels questions.
The Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks are among the teams on the new extended Davis list, league sources said. Still, Clippers are another team holding onto cap space and assets for summer free agency. So far, Clippers haven't made an offer on Davis, sources said.

Woj has replied to this, basically confirming it: LaVar Ball tells ESPN that if Lonzo Ball is traded, he wants his son to go to Phoenix: “We want to be in LA. But if he’s traded, I don’t want Lonzo in New Orleans. Phoenix is the best fit for him. And I am going to speak it into existence.”

The lavar ball thing I honestly thought it was a parody or joke until woj replied

There would be a lot less drama if Kyrie would just come out and say I am staying in Boston just like I said early in the season. Why doesn't he do that? Why does he potentially sabotage his own team's possible improvement WITH AD? I just don't get it. Is he a part of this whole Rich Paul powerplay for LeBron?

What happens if Ainge fails to offer Kyrie the contract he wants?   What happens if Ainge trades Kyrie first?  What happens any number of unforeseeable things that are out of Kyrie's control make re-signing in Boston untenable?

Kyrie can't promise anything, because him staying isn't even entirely up to him.  Kyrie already said everything he could, and it still wasn't good enough for some.  It's obvious to him no answer he gives will please everyone.  That has to be frustrating when you know no answer you give will be good enough, but you're going to continued to be asked anyways.
Tom Brady was asked a million times if he’d retire after this season and he must have been sick of and bored with that question.  But he didn’t play games and give different answers Kyrie Irving style.

I'm moving on. He doesn't want to be here according to his list. So be it. I still love this team and feel confident Danny can make some stuff happen to help in the future even if AD is no longer possible. And honestly the Lakers giving up 7 players and their entire youth core for AD screams desperation lol.

"Tatum, Smart/Brown, Williams/Yabusele ($$$), Kings Pick, Grizzlies Pick, 2 More Future 1sts"

This kind of offer has always made the most sense, quality for quality and not quantity for quality.

Todays Lakers offer becomes the baseline offer in July without the expirings in it.

It makes no sense for NO to do a deal now but does Demps have the testicular fortitude to wait?

If Demps needs some cap relief, we can always get a 3rd team that is rebuilding and is under the cap to take Hill by sending them a pick.

I think if we can get him for year then we can easily win him over.  KG did not want to come here, yet he did and he fell in love.

I don't care about the picks, but I'm not okay with giving up either Smart or Brown additional to Tatum.

Tatum + Williams + 2 lottery picks + 2 picks is a huge haul that's better than any other team can offer. Not going to use Smart or Brown as salary filler either. We're talking about borderline All Stars.

it's bizarre to insult the Cs about their alleged disloyalty to IT4, yet view the Clippers favorably after the way they treated Blake Griffin.

Blake got the money.

NBA players surely feel that Blake got a bit of a raw deal, but he still got a max contract. IT never got to cash in, that combined with the injury and death of his sister creates a vortex of sympathy for him. Deservedly so really, just sucks that he got hurt right as he hit FA.

I don't think he's legit considering the Clippers. I have a feeling them and the Bucks found their way onto this list because they don't have the assets to actually pull off a trade. It's a ploy by Rich Paul and co. to make it seem like AD is open to playing for a team other than the Lakers without the possibility of one of those teams being able to acquire him.

Also, Lebron's ditched teams 3 times and left them all in bad shape because he forced them to make short-term moves. Even now he's practically going to get the entire Lakers team traded LOL.

Could this be why Solomon hill is not playing?

LA TIMES: Lakers President Magic Johnson and New Orleans Pelicans general manager Dell Demps talked twice about an Anthony Davis trade Monday, according to sources, with the Lakers offering Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson, Michael Beasley and two first-round draft picks.

The sources, who were not authorized to speak publicly, said the Lakers would also acquire veteran forward Solomon Hill and his $25.9-million contract that runs through next season. The Lakers are now waiting for a response from the Pelicans.

According to Brian Windhorst the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls have reportedly discussed a deal which would send Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to Chicago in exchange for Jabari Parker.

“[KCP] is available and has been floated out there for some spots, Windhorst said on ESPN Radio, via Bryan Kalbrosky of Hoops Hype. “One place that they have talked to, now I’m not saying this deal is going to get done, but one place they have talked to is Chicago for Jabari Parker.

“And the thing about this is Caldwell-Pope has to approve of a trade. I’m not sure that’s going to get done but that’s been discussed. The Bulls really like Caldwell-Pope. Parker could be a Laker within the next few days. Jabari is a polarizing player but he might be interesting on the Lakers.”

If I knew Kyrie was coming back, the AD stuff wouldn’t bother me.  I’d happily root against him.
