The Lakers offer is bad. Too many questions surrounding Ingram's health, Ball's entire game, and I don't think Kuzma has much more upside than what he's shown.

Tatum alone is probably viewed as more valuable than those 3 together due to his upside.

Kuzma and Tatum is about the same at this point

Lakers fans have been selling that awful hard for a full year now and its just not true.

Tatum takes his licks on the board for his defense, I think he's pretty good most of the time, Kuzma is just a flat out disaster there. Add in Kuzma's awful jump shooting/age gap/talent gap and its not close.

Kuzma is old enough to be Tatum's father.

This. There's no way anyone in the NBA thinks Kuzma has the same value as Tatum. People still see Tatum as a future #1 option. No one thinks that about Kuzma.

There's a couple of concepts at play here called "market" & "leverage".

I'm pretty sure the market for AD, given what interested teams are able to actually offer for him,  doesn't necessitate the need to include both Brown & Tatum in a package.

From a leverage standpoint, the closer we get to AD's impending FA, the leverage that NO has to demand both dwindles & dwindles, since the ultimate worse case scenario for them is AD leaving for nothing.

So name a better trade package?

-Zion
-Siakam, Anunoby (depends on preference)
-Kuzma, Ball, Ingram and Lakers top 5 pick

Ah the old you tube method of defensive ability evaluation.

I wonder who the worst defensive player to have a defensive highlight reel created for them? Harden? Ben Gordon? Our own King in the Fourth?

Edit: Beyond the jokes Tatum has a better DRTG, Block rate, steal rate, DRPM, DPIPM, etc, etc, etc.

It was a joke

But both Tatum and Kuzma are pretty average defensively...with tools that bail them out from time to time

I disagree. Ball doesn't want to play for the Pelicans because they already have Jrue Holiday and Ingram has health concerns

Fine

Kuzma, Hart and 2019 top 5 pick

Celts counter with Tatum with 3 crappy picks

Which one would you choose?

I like how the Lakers (slot 11) are upgraded to top 5 (which cannot happen only top 4)

Meanwhile the C's (slot 14 + Memphis which would likely be 9th or lightly protected 2020 in a Lakers jump scenario) are just part of the crappy poo-poo platter.

I take Tatum and don't look back, unless its Zion. (Maybe Morant depending on how they feel about Lonzo atm)

My bad... was looking at an older draft list

Still Lakers could easily gain a 1st for Ball and Ingram and add that with Kuzma

I still dont believe the Celts are on the driver seat

Risky trade also
