Uh, no it doesn’t.
When Lonzo comes back they’ll return to being terrible
Hopefully the Nets start doing better.
They've looked awful lately.
I don't understand why the Kyrie trade value revolves around BRK pick being bad or why there's even a thread about monitoring it. It's currently a sunk cost as the trade is done and I'd still trade IT & the #1 pick in 2018 for Kyrie because he's worth more than a #1 pick and whatever little value IT has now (he looks awful).
If your argument is the trade looks iffy because we could have kept BRK and traded LAL18/SAC19
1) We don't know for 100% certainty that Cleveland would have accepted LAL18
2) We'll never know the actual value of the two picks until the picks convey and the players show their colors. For example lets say BRK is #1 pick and they take Doncic, but he turns out to be more Andrea than Kristaps and SAC19 is RJ Barrett and he turns out to be a pretty good player.
I tend to think that the BRK18 pick has less value than LAL18/SAC19 because of the SAC19 portion of it, but it's just speculation.
