I've gained a lot of respect for Vince Carter over the last 4 years or so. I never liked him when he was in his prime. Overhyped and wanted to be a star but couldn't be a leader. But in the twilight of his career he transitioned to being a role player smoothly and did some nice things in Memphis on a small scale. He hasn't been a star for years but he seems to still like playing basketball and he can still help a team now and then.

All of that is to say, I'm happy for him.

Jae has always been a good - and at times VERY good - defender.

Vince had a great game. No worries for Jae.

CLE is trying to win BUT at same time trying to tread water for when "IF" they meet GSW - provided they get by US and TOR and perhaps WAS.

I can see them trotting out a Defensive lineup of

LeBron, Jae, Jeff Green, Wade and perhaps Thompson...when that lineup is engaged they are VERY good defensively.

Between now and June they will need to get Tristan ready for such a lineup, though - dude looked completely lost in the Finals last year.
