The shot at LeBron was rather amusing.

What did he say?

"Is there ever a such thing as one man carrying a team? I don't think so"

Definitely some shade there, IMO.

What did he say?

He was asked about having to shoulder the load now and responded that no one player can do that alone.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Very impressed by Kyrie. No knock on Gordo, but I think Irving comes off as more intelligent (don't ask him about the shape of the Earth).

Considering he's the floor general- this is a good sign. I liked his emphasis on team. Brad has some Belichick in him (except he doesn't seem like a total Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.).

Love both acquisitions. Let's Go!

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Hayward spoke about the growth between him and Brad Stevens. Stevens jokingly says, "he couldn't even grow a beard back then." Reporter that asked the question, jokingly retorts back, "can you?"

Everyone laughs.

Hayward knows the growth, basketball player, and family man has molded him. Notes Stevens as a big reason for his maturity, and says he can't wait to get back into with him.

Kyrie really is a rambler. It's like his thought process mimics his dribbling. Jukes this way, spins, zags that way, etc.

I loved Hayward's green jacket. Very nice.

Everyone seemed really, genuinely happy to be up there. I'm excited.

Man that was a really good press conference. You can tell Kyrie really wants to be coached by CBS. I'm looking forward to seeing what this teams identity becomes. They have are going to put up some highlights.

He definitely likes to talk, but he seemed to stay on point.

So much for the crazy, weird, introvert talk.

I thought Kyrie acquitted himself well. Said all the right things and sounded like a guy who's interested in being part of a team, listening to the coach, and just playing good basketball.

Oh as one crazy, weird, introverted person to another, he definitely showed signs of being weird and introverted to me, lol. At least he gave off that feel to me. Nothing wrong with being a bit crazy, weird, and introverted.

I agree with you. Not everyone is great with public speaking. It's fine.
