Watching Isaiah jump up and down in the kitchen after the Hayward signing and then seeing this...

thnaks for proving my points. you are too emotionally invested. IT IS A BUSINESS. people are blinded by emotions. it happened when we traded KG and PP.
Considering chemistry and morale actually, y'know, exist, saying that one should ignore all emotional attachments is foolish.

our chemistry will be fine. that is a foolish argument. how many times has chemistry changed over the years. hey we can have good chemistry with jerebko and amir and KO also. should be bring them back? LOL

Chemistry isn't thrown together in a summer. Ainge basically rebooted everything and it's going to take time if at all. It's a worthy consideration that next year is a throw away now.

We just traded away the guy that our two biggest FA acquisitions came to play with. Obviously that will change our chemistry. I don't know how you could argue otherwise.
Yeah, that's largely gratuitous speculation. Those two guys largely came for the max contract and the promise to be on a relevant team. Neither of these has gone away with the trade.

Two Duke players on vacation? One of them that shouldn't be countered on too much next year?

A lot off these players have existing relationships off the court, I'm not over concerning myself with chemistry.

Also took less money coming to Boston in doing so. IT was a big reason for the rebuild no one should dismiss that.

CBS does and it's a process unless you're the 08 Celtics with 3 HoF.

They could have gotten the same money (in Horford's case) or more (in Hayward's case) by signing elsewhere. If you think it was all about the money then you're a fool.

That said, it's equally foolish to think that it was all IT, too. It was a mix of past success (which IT was a part of), the talent on the team (which IT was a part of but Kyrie should replace) and management (both Brad and Ainge/Ainge's ability and willingness to make big moves)
I'm bitter.

He should still get a big payday for his last contract and grab a few nuggets but not the brinks truck.

Belichick type move.  Dont give the big payday for what the player has done for you, sell high and stay one step ahead.  Only downside for IT was he didnt save that season for one more year.

Denver would be a great spot for him actually

Yeah, I'm sure he's sooo disappointed that he won't be able to play with Gordon Hayward. Competing for an NBA title with the best player in the world right before getting the Brinks truck is really going to suck for him.

We should def feel sorry for him vs him feeling sorry for us writing about him on the internet.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

I think Hayward and horford will enjoy playing with NBA champion and superstar Kyrie Irving

I am sorry to see him go, BUT:
1. We cant pay him
2. He is getting abused od D in the playoffs, and that is not getting us a championship
3. At least danny didn't trade him to the nets or something. He gets a chance to prove himself again with playing alongside the best player in the world.

Did Brad call you and tell you that personally?

I mean, I'm not sure IT talking constantly about backing up the Brinks truck and Jae weirdness about Hayward were going to be chemistry boosters anyway.
