This is a classic Danny trade, he doesn't want to max out IT just like he didnt want to pay Perk, and chemistry be [dang]ed it's a good value trade for the Celtics. If it happens I would expect a slower start to the season considering our core of IT, Crowder, and Bradley have been moved.

Moranis I totally agree with you on this. This would be the worst trade I can remember completely dwarfing the Vin Baker Trade, Joe Johnson trade etc... would be absolutely brutal...

IT, Crowder, Zizic, and one of the LA or Brooklyn picks? Yeah, that's a bit too steep for me. Now if that pick is something like the Memphis and/or LAC pick, then I'm down for that.

This.. kyrie isn't that much better than IT and he's not getting us past warriors this year.

The ESPN trade machine is saying IT, Crowder, and Zizic isn't a legal trade for Kyrie. Can anyone verify this?

As long as the Brooklyn and LAL picks aren't included, I'd be down for this deal. Something like IT, Crowder, Zizic, and the Memphis and LAC picks would be a good deal.

I think our ceiling (and longevity) is significantly higher with Kyrie than IT, though I do worry about how young our team would be now.

Quickly looking on my phone I believe we would be roughly 400k short of kyries 18.9 mil salary using IT+crowder+zizic × 1.25 + 100k. If we added rozier instead the numbers would work but the cavs would also need the 2 extra roster spaces to take on Crowder and rozier. If we take on any filler salaries from Cleveland we would have to send out more salary than just IT Crowder and rozier
