Lebron can't play the 2 full time, and neither can Crowder. They'd have to start Smith or Shump instead of Crowder, who'd come off the bench.

However, they'd have a pretty ridiculous small-ball unit of IT, Smith, Lebron, Crowder, and Love.

This. We have all the leverage. All of it. The Cavs are just trying to survive here. We needn't help them

It's not as dramatically bad as the Perk trade but it feels like it.

This doesn't feel good right now. This is the kind of trade you make to finish a team. The C's have been completely turned over.

But the logic behind the Perk trade was that we needed Green to defend Lebron, given Pierce's age.  That was a move - trading a slow, declining, and horrible offensive player - that was supposed to be an upgrade.

How is trading IT, Crowder, Zizic, plus a future 1st for Kyrie an upgrade?!?!  Our team is worse!

Safe to say Cleveland fans will be ecstatic about this trade if it goes down.

I was really looking forward to the start of training camp, and now this happens.

Hope this has to do with Ainge's trepidation about IT's next contract/luxury tax woes and not actually thinking this helps us on the court.
