They may have to go with Theis for the moment.

Not forgetting, just keeping things in perspective.  Theis was a 20 minute a game guy in Germany, I'm guessing you don't want to count on him for too much in the NBA.

If Ainge is counting on 2 Euro's to play significant minutes he is a fool.
End of the bench players at best..

Yeah Euros all suck. Saric, Vucevic, Fournier, Dragic, Schroder, Porzingis, Jokic, Gasol, Gobert, Antetokounmpo, Nurkic, Hernangómez, Mirotic, Bogdanovic, Bogdanovic, etc all suck. Now who is the fool?

We will forget about him more when he is sitting at the end of the bench ...

This^^^. Not saying that Theis will be the starting C, but if the C's are depending heavily on him to contribute right away, give quality minutes, then IMO the C's are looking for trouble.
Danny has a keen eye for NBA talent, not so much European talent. Faverani is a perfect example.

Yes there are lots of great European examples that have worked in the NBA  HOWEVER, Danny is best when he isn't plucking them straight from Europe (meaning they'd have to show their talent in the NBA). Great example of this is picking Kelly Olynk over Giannis A.

I think we're all hopefully for Theis. But you can't go into the season counting on an international player to be a major part of your rotation.

I also think that Ainge may still try to fit Yabusele onto next year's roster.

A Crowder trade would open up that possibility

I'm thinking Joel Anthony level impact would be great.

So proof that Danny picks bad guys from Europe is because he picked KO over Greek Freak.  Yeah, that makes so much sense.

I was hoping for Yabu, but all indications are that we  have to keep him parked abroad another year for payroll/cap reasons.

Take it from a german: If you had to rank the international leagues, the german Bundesliga would be in the double digits.

Luke Harangody could win MVP here. Winning DPOY in the Bundesliga is like being the tallest kid in special class.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Yes! well documented BUT if you read my post - He can spot talent - it just has to be IN the NBA already. I'm sure he'd die to get JOKIC or Nuric (established Euro talent that already exists on an NBA team.) I do not trust Danny to pick/draft Euro talent to meaningful minutes on the C's within their first few years.

Nobody is forgetting him lol

But he's basically an undrafted unknown rookie with almost no shot at making an impact ever, let alone in his rookie year
