His first year is supposed to be guaranteed.
Can he play power forward?

Can he play power forward?

He is a power forward or undersized center who blocks shots and can hit the Three. Defensive player of the year in Europe.

So he and Zizic are definitely making the team.

They both have contracts but Theis's is so small you could cut him and pay the contract no problem but he looks like he can play off the bench.

His wingspan appears to be huge. Like 7'4" huge. If anyone has a real measurement. Please share.

This is one thing I found but it can't be real. 7'8"! That's nuts, but his arms are freaky long and he's a defensive player of the year winner.

3 days ago - They have also come to terms with German free-agent Daniel Theis. .... The 21 year old seven-footer has a ridiculous 7'8 wingspan but is listed ..

I don't think anybody has forgotten him...I just don't think anybody cares.

Danny Ainge has take more then his share of overseas players who supposedly were shining for their respective countries, only to come here to Boston and find themselves pretty much useless and buried on the bench.

I for one expect nothing until proven otherwise.

Can't take that last quote seriously, considering Theis is 25 not 21.
