To jump into the clay v. RJ debate, I've got to agree with clay. We were as good without Hayward as they were with Hayward. Gordon supposedly wants to play with a good point guard and Thomas and Smart blow Rubio Exum out of the water.
The only argument that you can really make in terms of personel is that the Jazz have a player better than anyone on our team in rudy gobert. I actually agree with this. I think Rudy is an absolute stud.
That said, we have a clear advantage in terms of personel. I'm starting to think we will get him and I was not very confident in this a few weeks ago. This move feels like the Ibaka trade for OKC last year to me.
