The only way I can think is if Jackson plays the small ball 4. Brown and Jackson have very similar games. It would be exciting to see them in transition however can they truly play together? Is this our optimal scenario?  I don't see brown as a 2 that's really pushing it.

Or is one going to come off the bench? It'll be a disappointment to have one of our lotto picks relegated to the bench role again after smart.

And what about Hayward? This is becoming a mess

They don't. Two very below average shooters that are just role guys

Jackson and Brown is no more difficult than IT and Fultz

Not really, both of those guys are above average shooters, whereas Brown is merely average and Jackson is below average.

I guess so... that's fair. I just cringe at the defense Fultz/IT would give us

In Fultz's rookie year it'd be quite rough, but they likely wouldn't play together too regularly. Although neither would Brown and Jackson.

It gets much worse when you factor in Hayward and Crowder.  I don't think this deal is happening without a Butler trade to follow.

Which makes contracting that team practically impossible if we hope to maintain IT as well as Bradley.

Yea I have hope for Brown, but these 2 on the court together we would need 2 IT's in hopes of putting points on the board.

This...

I'm extremely frustrated with these rumours.   There is not a single player in the top 5 that I hate more then Jackson as a prospect.   His bust potentially is incredibly high,  and he offers is absolutely nothing of need.

Fultz on the other hand has superstar potental.  Not only does this trade such for us,  it makes Philly so much stronger.

I pray to God Danny doesn't do this.   Hopefully the Sixers end up unwilling to give up what Danny wants,  and the trade talks apart.

If you're going to trade down at least take Tatum.  At least he can shoot / score and star potential.

....and neither have the ballhandling skills to make their own plays.   So in a way, it is still up to IT to make plays for others  ::)

How do you feel about a lot of athleticism and very little skill?
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.
