Bradley, Smart, Crowder must be moved to make room.
Doubt that all three will go. Doubt that Hayward will be signed, as good as he is.
Crowder is on a great contract and has hit his peak.
We agree about the contract.
Even if he really has hit his peak (and, at 26, it's not bloody likely), this peak is pretty impressive. He's one of the best defensive players at his position in the league, and is one of the top shooters in the league at
any position; and he fulfills the valuable - coveted - role of a swing.
This past season he's added dribble-drive stuff that got him more open shots from the arc. It also helped him draw fouls (Free Throw Rate over the .300 threshold for the first time in his career), and he's money at the line. He was 17th in the league in True Shooting %.
He's likely just entering his prime.
I'd love to keep him but if he's gonna cause any chemistry problems losing his starting spot than he must go.
Why would he lose his starting spot? Oh yeah, because supposedly Gordon Hayward is coming. Well, I'll believe it when I see it.
