Just trying to play around here...so don't kill me  ;D ;D

AB for Jahlil...it works on the ESPN trade machine.

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine

I know Jahlil has a lot of warts but he's big, young, and can score.  Also he's controlled through 2020.  Maybe Brad can get him to be average defensively.  We are small and maybe he could work well with real point guard play and with Horford being an exceptional frontcourt facilitator...he could blossom a little?

Does this make any sense?

I saw a thread the other day on 76ers reddit where a Lakers fan came and suggested the Lakers 28th pick for Jahlil straight up swap. I was surprised how almost unanimous the 76ers fans were in their willingness to take that deal. Some of the 76ers fans even suggested that Holmes was a better backup center than Jahlil.

With this in mind, it seems that Jah's value is at an all-time low and AB for him would be a MASSIVE overpay.

no, just no.  AB is much more valuable than Okafor at this point.

If the 76ers are willing to throw in #3, sure. Otherwise, thanks.

seems Okafor has gone down a very Dark(o) path.  ;)

if they're willing to take that late a pick for him, I'd offer up our collection of second rounders this year for him just to see if he can provide more than Zeller off the bench.

Wow!!!

He has a bum knee that has not healed for over a year from minor surgery
He is a really bad defender
He is a very poor rebounder
Perhaps tied to his injury, he has had serious conditioning issues
He is not a good passer on offense and works as a ball-stopper
He can not space the floor at all
The 76ers GM has announced they want to trade him

It has been a great source of amusement that it has taken Celtics fans so much longer than 76ers fans to realize this guys value. One poster went so far as to accuse me of making up his knee injury before I had to share coverage of it over the last 6 months. So yea... maybe you trade Mickey or a very very late first like 25+ but that is it.

Yeah, I was surprised too. That's an ultra quick decent for a guy that some wanted to trade the 3rd overall pick for last year.

Just don't get the fascination with Okafor on this site. He put up empty stats on one of the worst teams in league history his rookie year then was an absolutely putrid player last year. Some of the youtube vids of him "playing" defense are laugh out loud funny.

Pass on Okafor for Rozier nevermind Bradley.

+1. On top of that, I don't understand the rush to trade Bradley. If Bradley has to be traded in order to land a super star, so be it. Other than that, you'd have to pry him out of my cold dead hands. Certainly not trading him for some scrub who has already flamed out and has no real promise of resurrecting his career.

I don't think most see Bradley as a core component to a great team, but as a role player. A role player who will expect a $20 million paycheck.

I don't think many are eager to trade Bradley, but the fact is if we were to add Fultz and someone like Hayward, we'd be way overstocked at guard, and given his contract status relative to his value, he's the most expendable commodity. Especially considering that Ainge isn't going to trade IT.

Keeping them both and paying them a combined $50 million+ per season makes absolutely no sense, so somebody has to go.

TP to the OP.  :)
Getting Okafor would be huge for this team. He is not a finished product at all.

The best trade would be:
AB
Marcus
4
Okafor
2019 SAC unprotected 1st

IMO Smart is gone next summer bc we will have Fultz and presumably IT,,,,plus Jaylen. Smart is not going to get better first step or become an offensive weapon with decent shooting percentages.

Avery is only 26, entering into his prime and should sustain for next 5 years.

Why so eager to trade except to creatcap space for GH?
