If the reports are true that it's really down to the Jazz, HEAT and Celtics for Hayward. Stevens should be the one that can close the deal if it's between Riley and Ainge. What does Miami offer basketball wise besides the weather and no state taxes than Boston? Are they already giving up on Winslow at SF? He might as well stay in Utah if he is really considering the HEAT.

I do believe he's leaving because remember he signed an offer sheet with the Hornets a few years ago. He wasn't concerned about state taxes or weather back then.

Im more concerned with Lebron wanting Hayward to join forces. I dont know Haywards intentions but maybe he would love to be part of a super team and win a championship at his age
How could Cleveland possibly afford him.

Completely unrealistic.

Not if they Rid themselves of Tristin Thompson

It's not possible. Hayward will ask for about 32 million per year.
If they trade Thompson, Smith, Shumpert, Frye, Jefferson, Sanders and Felder and take back 0 salary in return they could fit him...

I think theyd also have to renounce everyone elses bird rights.

So your saying there's a chance?  8)

Theres always a chance. Once Cleveland falls to Curry n Durant thats just gonna get his blood boiling n with his age he knows its now or never. Lebrons got 2-3 more years of prime left. He's going to do anything humanly possible to get the best players in FA in that door and if it means shedding contracts with half the team they got i think he will get it done.

Lebron
Irvin
Love
Hayward

That team can level up to

Curry
Durant
Thompson
Green

I fear Cleveland will lose this finals and go at Hayward with all they got.
its just not gonna happen man.

Lebron and Kyrie make a combined 52 mil next season.

The cap is projected at 101 mill. Hayward will command 30.3 mil.

This means they need to be under 71 mil.

Meaning after Lebron and Kyrie they can only have an extra 19 mil in cap space.

Love is 22 mil, so you cant keep him. Thompson is 16.4 mil, but due to cap holds for minimum roster requirements, you cant keep him either. I think JRs contract is just s tiny bit too big as well.

So Cleveland would have Lebron Kyrie, and their choice of Shumpert and Frye.

The entire rest of the team would have to be dumped.

Well, THANK GOD Cleveland isn't an option then!

Same with Golden State since they have their own guys to worry about only.
Lebron will do whatever he can t add another player to his team...even if that means trading Love and replacing him. With Lebron pulling the strings, and being the best player in the world, you can't rule anything out as far as a huge shift on that team.

They will be looking at trades and eventually ways to sign Paul George...which is very scary. PG would have to want to go there and that would be a factor. They would need to either trade love or use him in a trade bc Love is the guy out. PG and Lebron would work well together. They can both play the 3/4 and switch it up given the matchups of the night. Lebron could also be moved the the 4 and PG to the 3 when Lebron starts to decline athletically.

Okay, so you get rid of Love, but what else are the Cavaliers offering for the services of George??

You really think the Pacers are taking back Love, and then some 2019-2020 2nd rounders and and a few other 'scrubs' from that team?

If so, another team could easily swoop in and get George.

Pacers would trade PG13 to rebuild and get some good picks and/or decent young players.

And George could easily decide to bolt CLE after just one season especially if he feels LBJ isn't staying long term or what not, and CLE won't be able to give PG13 a max-extension.

Don't know if it has been posted here yet, but Hayward's wife tweeted a pic this morning of holding her kid wearing a Celtics green t-shirt with a shamrock. She deleted it after awhile, but the message was quite clear.

Oops. Just see it in the previous posts.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
