Well, given IT is worth a middle 2nd round pick to a vocal contingent of CBers, I'd imagine Zizic would return a relatively new vending machine.
What kind of vending machine?

Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that this guy would, in fact, be taken around the 10th pick in this year's draft. What and/or who could he then land us in a possible trade? Could he get us a late lottery pick, or would it be more likely that he could fetch a return of one or two mid-first rounders/seconds? I'm just curious to hear everyone's thoughts on the matter
.
If he could be taken with around the 10th pick, I'd expect he'd get at least around the 10th pick. Teams don't regularly trade the 10th pick in the draft for the 15th pick in the same draft, and if go on your assumption that he's would be taken with the 10th pick, then that's essentially what your saying by wondering if he could fetch a mid-1st rounder. Consider also that his salary will be roughly half of what pick #10 gets, and he has even more value.
I don't personally buy into the "he'd be picked around 10" hypothesis, but if he would be, logically that's approximately what he'd bring in return.
Neither do I, and I'm sorry for asking such a dumb question, it's just that the Kings already have the immortal Willie Cauley Stein (sarcasm) and Georgios Papagiannis, even though I know next to nothing about the latter except for the fact that Kings' fans seem to hate him, iirc, so do you think that Vlade and co. would deem Zizic to be good enough, on his own, to part with the 10th pick? I'm not sure (although my guess is probably not), hence the question. Still, my apologies. Sigh.
People here probably want to trade him for a couple of 2nd round picks. LOL.
Answer - no trade value because he hasn't shown anything yet.
Let's bring him into camp, summer league, etc. and see what he's got first.
Nah, at least a first rounder

, but your point is well founded, imo, as I'm not sure how he could fetch such a hefty return already without even playing in the summer league, yet, unless he's really just THAT GOOD (and I'm not saying that he is or isn't, btw).
I guess that I'm just skeptical because we've heard this kind of thing before, and from more reputable sources in Ainge, Bulpett, Calipari (well, I personally wouldn't call him reputable, lol

), and Stevens, iirc, about how James Young would have been a top 10 pick in 2015 had he elected to return to Kentucky, so yeah

. Ugh.
