It's a waste starting either Amir or Gerald. Start Jaylen. Reward the rookie. What's the downside?

Not at all. Play him 40 minutes each night. Two games to go this season.

There's a downside to NOT starting him. He should absolutely be rewarded with a start for his effort tonight. If he isn't started, what message will that send to him?

I hope he does.  It's fun watching him right now.  It's nice to see his fight and aggression; he looks good.  Smart was the same way when he was in.

For the rest if the series? Don't you mean the rest of his career (or at least until he gets old)?
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I mean do we really want to take vital developmental minutes away from Green and Jerebko......

The only reason would be him possibly fouling out early due him having to guard Lebron more. But I'm definitely all for it, seeing Green get the start was frustrating and made no sense to me in this series.

He wont last on the floor...due to fouls
