Fultz comparisons

I'm not sure what you guys are seeing who compare him to explosive point guards.  He can finish and dunk because he has long arms.  He's crafty like Steve Nash and James Harden so he gets where he wants.  But he doesn't explode like Baron Davis, Lillard, Roy, etc.  His defensive limitations will not only be because of effort.  He has long arms which helps, but his feet don't move particularly fast.  He will be no Avery Bradley on defense.

I think we should do a beyond thorough examination of his knees.   We don't need the next Brandon Roy or Penny Hardaway in terms of gimpy knees.   He missed a ton of games this year with his knees and has to ice them at a young age.   If he checks out then all is good, if he does not then Ainge may have to do something other than draft him.

I'm super curious about the knees.  Have been for a long time.  I've said before that if he had an acl tear or something, at least it could be a one time injury that healed.  I am very interested in the doctors evaluations.

I love how the article talked about Fultz having to work on his shot. Now that is one of his best attributes. I think we all have a lot to look forward to.

I love how the article talked about Fultz having to work on his shot. Now that is one of his best attributes. I think we all have a lot to look forward to.

Even though there have been questions about his effort in games sometimes, every report I've seen on Fultz says that he's a hard worker off the court.

Rose became a decent shooter.  And was not "far more explosive." Exaggeration. You underestimate MF's athleticism.
