Put Smart on Lebron.  Or Thompson.  One of the two.

When Markelle Fultz hits his prime, LeBron James will be 40, so there's a chance that his decline will have started.
LeBron is like Tom Brady, he'll play until he's 45.

First Lopez, then Gortat, now Love/Thompson.

Celtics making these guys look like Prime Shaq and Duncan.  ::)

To be fair, Love and Thompson are excellent rebounders, and Thompson is particularly excellent at offensive rebounding. They destroy everyone, not just us.

Doesn't Thompson by himself make like 84 million dollars, he should be able to grab a rebound.

They did. It looked pretty pathetic.

Yeah I highly doubt that.

40, sure.

We're not even sure if Brady can play till 45 lol (Hope he does, but I'm being realistic).

Thompson is one of the 2 or 3 best offensive rebounders in the league and Love used to average like 14 a game. He's lost a little but he's still an elite rebounder

Thompson is the single best offensive rebounder IMO.

Celtics are tired.  Can't quit though.  It should be smart and crowder and help on lebron and thompson though.  Or jaylen and bradley.  There's no reason why we wouldnt be using those guys otehr than we are just tired..

Need to acquire more future lottery picks then. We'll be ready by 2040.

HEy brad why no fan of having a strong inside outside game and rely solely on spacing??

it is eating our lunch now plus we cannot rebound. you will have to adapt and change!

learn hard way!

We're missing shots but the Cavs are exposing the flaw in the defense that we, and so many other NBA teams, play.

YOU CAN'T JUST SWITCH EVERYTHING WHEN YOU'RE GUARDING ELITE SCORERS.

You have to fight through the pick or you have to aggressively trap the man with the ball.  With the rules that favor the offense, you can't simply surrender mismatches time after time after time.

Mike

Seriously. And it's not just Brad. It seems like every single team does that without even trying to fight through it. That just makes no sense to me.

If you're not going to double-team, then you simply just can't switch and give them the mismatches. That just makes no sense whatsoever, but that's exactly what has happened all game long.
