Celtics need to ease Isaiah in. Run some plays for him to have some open mid-range shots or shots in the paint.

Our only chance at making a run. And Brown too.

I'd imagine the record in Boston happened this year during the Super Bowl.  But those who weren't passed out drunk by the end of the game got to watch the greatest comeback in NFL history.

First Lopez, then Gortat, now Love/Thompson.

Celtics making these guys look like Prime Shaq and Duncan.  ::)

To be fair, Love and Thompson are excellent rebounders, and Thompson is particularly excellent at offensive rebounding. They destroy everyone, not just us.

Doesn't Thompson by himself make like 84 million dollars, he should be able to grab a rebound.
Tristan Thompson averages 5 OReb in the playoffs. That's as many as our third best rebounder averages overall. "Able to grab a rebound" is a tad of an understatement.

Sad to think Friday night could be the last game at TD Garden this season for Bruins/Celtics  :(

A hot streak will vault us back into this game, but I don't see us coming all the way back and winning the game.

brad was too quick to switch things up imo. I get it we were getting killed he just adjusted and went with the reinforcements trying to find fresh legs but bleh.  We wiill go on a run here at some point.  Shots have to start falling.

jaylen is the only fresh legs we have right now. Gotta find heart.

Realize I'm going to be hated......but Brad I think is overrated. A coach should be able to get his guys to play disciplined. This team really hasn't played that way going back to the bulls series. Ill advised 3's, bad defense, poorrebounding and simply street ball play is all I've seen this team do for the whole playoffs. It would be one thing if we were just getting beat due to a gap in talent, but this doesn't need to be going down this way.

Maybe I'm just spoiled from having seen the big 3 play, but this kind of ball is nauseating to watch.
Theyre missing wide open shots.  1-15 from three.  That's a player issue, not a coaching one.  And most people are predicting a sweep for good reason.  Cleveland is light years better than us.

I agree they are better than us, but it's not like the 3's they missed were spit up shots. Honestly, it's like watching a D-league vs pro scrimmage. Make that extra pass, box out, and fight for the rebound. These are basic things middle schoolers are taught, yet they have an immunity to doing the simple things. This team plays very unorganized, that's on the coach.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

We're missing shots but the Cavs are exposing the flaw in the defense that we, and so many other NBA teams, play.

YOU CAN'T JUST SWITCH EVERYTHING WHEN YOU'RE GUARDING ELITE SCORERS.

You have to fight through the pick or you have to aggressively trap the man with the ball.  With the rules that favor the offense, you can't simply surrender mismatches time after time after time.

Mike
I've been saying this for a while now.. time and time again I see players like olynyk actually force the switch onto an obvious mismatch. Like there will be ample space and time for smart/bradley/Crowder to get back to their guy but he will basically wave them off and proceed to get torched to the rim by the mismatch. I don't get it..
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

It feels like KO and Amir played less than 10 combined minutes first half. Hard to work yourself out of rut when in dog house. Amir I can understand but give KO a few guards on Love and Lebron

Team looks tired.  Everything is short. Cavs are fresh. NBA needs to do a better job of at least giving teams 3 days to rest between series. Start the season two weeks earlier if you have to, or shorten the first round to best of 5.
