Tonight is the night. 8:30 pm it starts. We'll know by 8:45-8:50. I did the simulator on Tankathon and 2 times out of 10 the C's won it. That's lower than the 25% chance we have in reality.
Orlando came up roses the most.
I really want the 1st pick but has the worst team ever won the lottery 3 years in a row? I would wager no but last year was also the only time there were no changes to the draft order.
C'mon ping pong balls! Green all the way!

I'm sticking to my prediction...I hope I'm wrong though.

1-Suns
2-Celtics
3-Lakers

Don't worry the Suns don't need Fultz and would probably take Ball or Jackson.

I live in Phoenix and there's a lot of talk that McD wants Ball to play next to Booker. Bad move IMHO..

The lottery is 100% rigged...
in that Boston will win it as Adam Silver is dissatisfied with the lack of competition vs Cleveland and Golden State..

I agree the lottery is rigged but believe the Lakers win it.
Firstly because the NBA NEEDS the Lakers to be relevant again
and second because they don't want to reward Philly with 2 picks.

If it is rigged, then the NBA goes us No 1, Lakers No 2. We take Fultz, Lakers get Ball. Suns take Jackson 3 and the League makes everyone happy without making it too obvious by giving the Lakers No 1

The victim complex around Boston sports is often rather amusing.
"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

So, since I believe we already have Gordon Hayward in our pocket. The draft ends up being that if we get no. 1, we take Fultz and bask in his basketball glory for the next decade along with our other players. If we get 2-4 and Fultz is the undisputed no.1 from that team, we trade it. Hayward makes Tatum and Josh Jackson kind of pointless to us. We would have Brown and Hayward to split minutes.

If we can't find a trade partner at 3-4 do we reach on Isaac because he fills a need or do we pick up Tatum or Jackson and look to trade Crowder?

I have a sneaking suspicion that Tatum will become better then Hayward will ever be.  And sooner, rather than later.  I could be wrong, but I'm calling it here.

The lotto isnt rigged.

If it were tho:

Lakers and Celtics are #1 and #2 without any doubt whatsoever.

Then either Philly or NYK fills in at #3.

As long as we dont get 4 I'll be happy.

Well I'll still be disappointed we didnt get one but the sky won't be falling at 2 or 3.

I'm sure all the mock draft sites are at the ready to update their picks once 9 pm hits.

Hot take: Fox goes top 3 over Ball.

Fultz/Tatum/Fox that's my order.

Here is Danny Ainge, lying again, IMO.

“We’d like to get as high a pick as possible, but I do think that it’s pretty good at the top of the draft — just not a clear-cut favorite or best player at this stage,” said Ainge. “But I think that the best player in this draft down the road could come anywhere from 1 through 10.

I don't think he actually believes that Fultz isn't the cream of the crop. Just trying to keep the other teams guessing.
