  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
We played very well in the first half.
Just have to find a way to continue that play for 4 quarters.

and yes, I BELIEVE!!!
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I think we're a better team.

I think its obvious though that their starting unit is far superior and it caught up to us on the road. That Bradley and Wall back court is a killer. Basically playing 2 on 1 out there because Isaiah can't cover either. Otto Porter is a win over Crowder and Gortat/Morris is a good front court combo.

Our bench needs to be the better unit as they were in game 1 or 2. Brad needs to try Jonas Jerebko in Game 5 in the starting lineup. He brings energy, hustle, shooting and decent defense.

I had way more confidence 0-2 against the bulls than I have 2-2 against the wizards.

Get back with me after game 5

lol. don't blame you. I picked celts in 7 originally. thought we had a shot at winning in 5 IF we got the split. problem now is we have lost momentum and cannot win on the road and cannot make any mistakes at home. if we win it will be in 7 or not at all. blew our shot at 5 and no way can we win in DC now. That much is apparent. 7 or nothing
LET'S GO CELTICS!

I want to say yes, I believe they can win this—not only because I want them to win (obvs), but because I felt the opposite when down 0-2 to Chicago and they proved me wrong.

On the other hand, I feel like if I declare my unreserved belief in this team at this point, they're gonna pull the rug out from under me.

Boston had a golden opportunity to step on Washington's throat in the second quarter and put the game away early but didn't do it; at that point, I knew that this team still had a lot of learning and growing to do, but nothing unreasonable—they're a young team, after all.

But when they got their doors blown off in the third quarter, giving up yet another huge run, that told me that this is more than just a relatively young, inexperienced team, but instead is a team that may just not have it (however you define it).

I said Cs in 6 or 7 in this series and its 2-2. Not concerned as they will take game 5 with the home crowd going crazy. Then the Celtics either win it that next road game or take the 7th at home.

The teams are pretty even. We can win, we can lose. But WAS has been the better team so far.

Considering they just got blown out in 2 straight games, I feel surprisingly confident that we will win game 5 and regain the advantage in the series.

The massive scoring droughts that we have to allow the Wiz to go on these runs is a problem, but I feel like some of it is self induced and correctable.

If we lose game 5, then I will definitely be concerned.

this same team was also down 2 games and went on to win the next 6 straight games in the playoffs. Never know

I still believe we can win the series but it is pretty concerning how the C's keep folding under the pressure of the big Wiz runs.  I happen to think the teams are pretty evenly matched.  When that is the case it usually comes down to intangibles, who plays harder, who gets loose balls, and mental toughness and better coaching adjustments.  If we take game 5 I think we win the series.

I had Cs in 7 with both teams dropping 1 home game.

Honestly, I still think its possible.

Do I still believe?

Just as much as I did when we were down 0 - 2 to the Bulls.

My team is still on the floor.

Like many here, I predicted heading into the series that we'd win it in 7. I obviously don't feel as good today as I did after we went up 2-0, but still feel that we can play well enough to squeeze out two more wins. Won't be easy, but all series that go a full 7 games are tough.
