Well, Mike did skip 4 seasons in his career.
yea... yawn. He has half as many titles and this will be his 12th full prime season which is how many full prime seasons Jordan played. The comparison is dead.
I don't see how anyone can watch what Lebron is doing this year in particular and come to that conclusion. He is seemingly in absolute control of the game every second, and when he needs to turn it on he has even another gear. It's amazing to see.
I think he's just as dominant as Jordan was in his prime, and whether he ends up with 4 titles or 9, I believe him to be in the conversation.
I mean in these playoffs he's *averaging* 34 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks while shooting 59% from 2 and 48% from 3.
His net on/off is +35! The Cavs are at 123/104 with him on the court, and 110/127 with him off. The defense is 23 points better and the offense is 13 points worse. Those numbers are ridiculous.
I don't know. I feel like there's a personal aspect that gets in the way of appreciating him, at this point. At least for some people.
