His scoring with the ball is fairly predictable. Its long stepback 3s and not much else. I havent seen a 1 or 2 dribble pull up. Hang dribble shot. I have seen a floater a few times. He doesnt get to the and finish well (I could also apply this to Tatum except I think he gets to the rim a little better). From what I have seen, almost all of his baskets at the rim are without the ball. I would love a breakdown on this.

Looks like around half of his baskets at the rim are assisted. And he hardly does anything except shoot at the rim and take 3s (92% of all shots).

Much lower for Tatum.

Thanks for posting this. This almost gets to the point that Im trying to make. I would love to find a breakdown of shots at the rim that excludes transition baskets. Only counts HC baskets. Would make things interesting.

I also expected Tatum's to be much lower due to style of play of the team, lack of a PG and taking 2/3 of the year to figure out roles.

Tommy Heinsohn is not an analyst, he's the color commentator. He's there to provide entertainment.
When he's in the studio too?
He's still the same guy as far as I am concerned. Either way, I've mostly stopped watching the talking heads because they no longer tell me anything I can't see for myself.

Yeah, really. I don't watch any pre-game, half time, or post-game shows. I record everything and start watching about an hour late so I can skip commercials and half time but still finish the game around the time it finishes in real time.

I want Tommy around for as long as he wants to be around. But when he leaves, Scal is the guy I want taking over full time if he's interested.

Same here--it really is the best way to watch a game--as long as your idiot friends don't text you the outcome first-!
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.
