* After breaking down the series, he thinks we win in 5. Doesn't think Chicago has anyone that can defend Thomas. By the same token, he said the Raptors have several guys that can cover and be physical with him.

* Has Ball as the 4th best prospect in the draft, behind Fultz, Jackson, and Tatum. Has Fultz clearly ahead of everyone else.

* Does not think Ainge regrets not adding a player at the deadline. Still doesn't believe we're getting past Cleveland anyways so sacrificing the future isn't worth it.

Only thing is, sometimes he almost laughs when Drapes or Blakely are trying to at least feign that the Celtics have a shot to win it all.

I think 5-6 on the series.

I think he is dead on with the draft. Ball will fall, I don't know if its the social crap that will cost him spots, or his actual play, but I am not interested either way.

I am fully supportive of Ainge's position not to add anything at the deadline. There is nothing to add except a superstar (preferably one who can rebound a bit). Price for the only two who could be had and qualify was too high. Do you think a Celtics team with Paul George less Avery and Jae can win it all? I don't. Not to mention we would have lost he pick this year in addition, as well as someone like Rozier.

Based only on what I know now, I would have done Rozier and the Clippers pick for Ibaka. He could have at least made it interesting.

Of course, that's based on what I know now. At the time, I was good with standing still.

Ditto to everything you said. I rarely watch any type of show involving commentary, and never watch the game live. Saves so much time that way.

I agree with what you said about Tommy.  I have friends and family that want Tommy to retire so Scal can take it.  Tommy is an icon and I want to listen to him as long as he wants to provide his insight.

Anyways, I completely agree with him on the draft board. People have been saying Tatum is the fall back at 4 and I think its Ball and I honestly dont know how he fits on this team.

I think Jackson, Tatum, and Ball all have things that are concerning to me but Ball has the biggest question marks.

His scoring with the ball is fairly predictable. Its long stepback 3s and not much else. I havent seen a 1 or 2 dribble pull up. Hang dribble shot. I have seen a floater a few times. He doesnt get to the and finish well (I could also apply this to Tatum except I think he gets to the rim a little better). From what I have seen, almost all of his baskets at the rim are without the ball. I would love a breakdown on this. 

Lastly, I give the other 3 the edge in my evaluation because of either the work they have put into their games or their competitive spirit. Jackson has long been one of the top players and one of the most competitive players on the floor for the last 2 plus years I have seen him. Tatum really works on his game. I mean really works. Guys like Bradley Beal have seen his work ethic 1st hand and have touted him as the top player in the draft. That holds alot of weight with me. Fultz basically came out of nowhere from the start of his junior year in HS to be a top 3 pick in the draft. I dont know these things about Ball leaving me with more questions than I do the other 3.

One of the reasons I was really big on Brown was because he was a guy who worked on his game. He had flaws but I trusted that he would work on them. I cant say the same thing about Ball hence him being 4th on my board.

Looks like around half of his baskets at the rim are assisted. And he hardly does anything except shoot at the rim and take 3s (92% of all shots).
