Wasn't his own father just saying he doesn't know if Sullinger wants it?

I'd rather watch Sully play than the rest of the sallies / bigs.

That'd change after about 5 minutes.

It's not the first time he's done that and at this point, I'm not sure it's just tough love. Could very well be genuine frustration because it's still somehow not clicking for Jared. He's 25 and may have already eaten himself out of the league.

Maybe one day he will get it, but I'm not interested in being the fanbase waiting for it to happen anymore.

Wow .....Sully has good family .    NBA is the goose that laid the golden egg.  All he has to do is be totally professional with his work ethic , the result will show on the court .  One day he is going to look back and see how dumb he was.  What a shame.

I guess I feel sorry for him.  I'd give him another chance .

Wish we could acquire the Tayshaun Prince of two years ago. He was one the most clutch players we've had over the past 5 years.

Yes, I realize he was playing over his head. And, that most likely he retired last year and is already way beyond prime time with injuries and age. Just wishful thinking on my part about the kind of player I wish the Celtics could pick up.

I haven't watched a game in a while because I honestly can't stand to see KO, JJ, Zeller, and a broken down Amir anymore.  It's just ridiculous.  If you subtract Horford (who plays like a guard), that is the worst frontcourt in the NBA.

If it was just players and not having to play chess with contracts I am sure that Danny would take another shot with Sully. I think he needs to keep the Zeller contract for future moves and that to sign Sully he would probably need to drop Young or Jackson. We do have a need for a player like Sully.

No sully.  Wish him luck but glad we sent him away.  Never put the extra effort in on defense and a guy with that much talent looks very limited on the court.  There is a reason why he's in his current situation. He should love playing in europe, good food

LOL

I think the Cavs will be getting him to replace Bogut

I don't think DA is interested in short term fixes.
He will pull the trigger if he thinks a player can help long term ..
this is just silly as Danny would just cut someone who wasn't going to be on the team next year anyway to sign someone that isn't going to be on the team next year, but that might actually help this year.

TP....irrefutable logic that many don't get, partly because of attachment to players and partly because certain players aren't "true Celtics", whatever the hell that means.

Sign Sanders and Sully.

Cut Mickey and Young, both useless and not with the team next year for sure. NEVER let Zeller suit up again and use him for the only thing he's good for:trade filler as a non-guaranteed. We need bigs bad, but I'd let DJ dress before I ever let Zeller dress again. He's a disgrace to the green.

How bad could Sully and Sanders possibly be? If Sully rolls like a donut down the floor at 2 miles an hour and Sanders is zonked out from the other green, they can't be any useless than Mickey, Zeller and Young.

If they get out of line, cut their asses, no big deal. Get some D-Leaguers in here.

I wholeheartedly second this Csfan!!!

Like IT and Al today  .no player other than Rondo and the big three made such a positive impact when on the court .  He was amazing .   Our scrubs played like starting vets when he was on the court with them.  Take him out and Celtics looked like the Nets.
