I've tried watching more of Ingram to get a better grasp on him, and I've got to say I think Jaylen ends up being the overall better player. Not only is Jaylen's athleticism on a whole other level from Ingram, but I don't see the "drive" and "fire" from Ingram that Jaylen has. Ingram really reminds me of a Wiggins or Gay type - a very good player, but not quite All Star level. I also think Jaylen has much higher two-way potential than Ingram.
Granted, Jaylen also benefits from being on a good team, which Ingram doesn't benefit from. On the other hand, Ingram benefits from being on a terrible team with much more room to shine individually and statistically, which Jaylen doesn't benefit from. But I'd bet Jaylen would look much better in LA than Ingram does now, especially with his ability to get to the hole and free throw line. I bet he'd average somewhere around 15 pats a game with 6-7 rebounds playing starter minutes in LA.
