Obviously the C's will continue to monitor the Butler and PG13 situations until tomorrow 2:59PM.
But we've heard they are interested in Tucker, and Bogut, and there was even a small tidbit that said they were looking at Gallinari as an option. But how about Kyle O'Quinn? Haven't heard a thing on him, but maybe as we've seen before, he's the "unexpected target" of Ainge's (the one no one hears about until the trade is made lol).
He's also under contract next year at a "dollar store" rate of 4M, and is a good rebounder (not a rental or "bandaid player" as Ainge would call it).
He wouldn't affect cap flexibility much next season and they could still draft Fultz/Ball/Jackson and sign a max FA. I wouldn't mind giving up a 2018 BOS 1st rounder for him (likely pick 25-28) if that's all it really took (and a smaller asset as well).
But maybe the Knicks are only making him available to Boston IF they take back Melo?
