I don't believe that report for a second.  Bucher is either making crap up, or spreading someone else's crap around who wants to make Hannigan in Orlando look more like an idiot than he already does.

Yeah, it didn't happen. If that offer was made, Cousins would be in Orlando right now.

Of course, Orlando would have been silly. If they didn't want him, just send him to another team for way better assets than Vucevic, Fournier and picks.

No way we can believe this report. At least 10 teams would offer the Kings a better package.

“Cousins, meanwhile, has made it clear that he wants to stay in Sacramento but one league source says owner Vivek Ranadive, a staunch Boogie supporter, is still uncertain about handing him a max $200 million extension. “The Magic are aggressively looking to revamp their roster any way they can. Boogie just won’t be part of the remodel.” – via Twitter

And what has Hennigan done right as a GM?

I see no reason to doubt this.  From Sacramento's perspective they get better on the court with both Vuc and Fournier plus probably pick up at least 1 future first.

How would that make Sacramento better?

Cousins produces almost as much on his own as Fournier and Vucevic do combined, and they'd be opening up a gaping hole in the middle defensively while also negatively affecting their spacing.

Assuming this is not ironic, I think it is far away from reality. If Sacramento didn't have Cousins, they maight have been the worst team in the league for years. He scores 25, is a defensive presence only with his size, plays unselfishly and smartly (assists) and can complement many different bigs since he also has a good outside game.

However, given that Sacramento has other bigs such as WCS, Skal and more, his attitude and more, the time to trade him getting good return is now or never.

I fail to see how Vucevic and Fournier makes Sactown better than Cousins does.
