he can just get where he wants so easily-he could be big the 2nd half of season
last year in miami 2nd half of season he lost minutes to winslow -i believe this year will be different
isaiah really likes this guy and so do his teammates
green is getting scary good, finally
and brad knows just how to use this

Gerald Green has always been a favorite of mine, going back to his previous Boston stint.  However, I have been burned before by misinterpreting a good game from him.  Frankly, I don't think Green has evolved as a player and that's why he getting paid the vet min.  He had a great game last night because his shots were falling, and you can see how much that helps his confidence.  There have been multiple-game stretches were he could not hit the side of a barn, and I expect that to happen again.  Jaylen Brown is quickly becoming everything you would want from Green and much more.

I love Green coming off the bench. I especially love it when he attacks the hoop as he flies. He can and will be a real benefit down the stretch.

Gerald needs to do that more often or that was just one good game from a streaky shooter.

Some of those shots were ridiculous. One was so soft and hit no rim. That was Gerald Green as a video game.

I think Jae is back for Dallas. I hope Jaylen is okay. We are getting many blessings in disguise with recent injuries and personal reasons for missing games. Now we have three next guys to back up Jae. James Young looked good. He looked serviceable. Green obviously looked very good.

Now it is more likely Young can be added to a trade based on the one game. I wouldn't call him an asset just yet, just not as negative an asset after last night.

Green has elevated his game to become a factor. When we are back to full health, I don't think he will play too much. He'll be a Phil Pressey option off the bench to perhaps wake us up during dog day scheduling woes or perhaps the odd playoff game. We are stacked at guard and Jaylen has made strides.

This is the part of the year when the deep bench gets its opportunities.

Maybe it is easier for them to play well with other guys out. They are not being thrown into rough games because things are going stale. They are the next guys up and there is no one behind them.

He does seem to get along with everyone really well. Glad to see him step up. He should be able to have more games like that. I felt at start of the year he was going to set himself up for a huge pay day at ths upper 6th man role types salary. Hope he can still prove himself.

He had a good first half last night, but haven't you been saying this since we signed him?  He has occasional explosions, the same as he has done for years.

More than the occasional offensive explosion, he's practically the "vet" of our team, I think. I mean, isn't he already one of the older guys?

I don't see Gerald being anything other than what he has been for years. He is a high energy poor defender(chicken with his head cut off...running around a lot but getting little done) that has a sweet stroke that is streaky from game to game. He can be quite useless for many games then hit for 20 on 8 for 9 shooting the next game. Last night he had a good shooting night. I expect his shot will disappear until after the All-Star break now, whuch is his norm.

This is how i see him also.   plays like he is 22.  Needs a brain transplant or will never be consistent.

Hey fanboyrollie, are you giving him a three year deal this summer?

And one of the lowest basketball IQs I've ever seen. There is a reason he doesn't play more, and won't.

ask the jazz how they feel about him-its nice to have the luxury of a green on the bench -
he can get back points quick
he is the type, that can heat up in the dog days of 2nd half of season or when team is down 20
a vet minimum  and  nowjaylen has a hip flexor
how come your a downer, he just played well in back to back games-
and were shorthanded and winning on the coast against good teams
green comes as advertised -scary when he on-
