In other sporting "news", Bill Walton is coming out of retirement to sign with the Boston Celtics for the remainder of the season.  ::)

Dude, why the constant negativity? The article is citing the opinions of a GM and scout.

Dont want to be a debbie downer but unlikely

Jokic has pg skills as well knows how to use his size to his adv

Zizic is a nice blue collar center prospect....  Could turn out to be a gortat

The 2016 draft could go down as Ainge's greatest draft. However, it does pain me to see Zubac doing so well and knowing we could have drafted him, while only dumping the SF sized scrub that is Mickey.

The only way we trade either of these guys is if it is in a deal for a star. We will need both for bench depth if we end up getting a quality max player like Hayward in free agency.

I'm getting very excited about Zizic.

After reading the article I don't agree that Yabu is a 3/4 I think he's more of a 4 or a small ball 5. Granted I think a players position is determined by who thy defend.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

so overhyped...

While they will be on the roster next year , minutes will be limited ... They are playing well in minor league ball... huge difference

I look forward to watching them sit on the bench next season so Kelly Olynk can clang three pointers off the back of the rim.

Some good stuff in there but on the roster spots taldk I'm not feeling Yab but Zizic is looking solid. DJ and Mickey should be gone so that is two roster spots for young guys. Green may get a bigger deal else where after he shines in a game or two in the playoffs that is the Nets picks spot. So no worries about space for young guys that's at least 3 spots.

When Danny makes a trade to improve this team, whether this year or during the offseason, I see 2 of Yabu, Zizic and Nader being included. There is just no way Ainge saddles Stevens with a bench consisting of 4 rookies and 2 ssecond year players next year...not for a team in win now mode.

Nurkic is a better comp for Zizic.  Their per 36 Adriatic League stats are more or less identical.

Don't think Gortat is a good comp.  Zizic is never going to have Gortat's super-diverse post scoring game.  Has potential to be much better as a pick-and-roller/defender though.

Zizic is super young, 6''11 and only getting better from all reports.  I think a lot of Euros are vastly underrated until of course they come here and hold their own against NBA "elite". Then it's "Oh we should've drafted him" or "how didn't Ainge pass on him" questions being asked. I was excited about Zizic at the draft and even more excited with his progress. Would love to see him as the backup 5 next season.

TP. This article is positive news, it's very odd to follow it with a sarcastic put-down. Even if it were directed at the Jokic comparison, oldtype's response above is far more constructive and thoughtful.
