[dang] I'm good Workout confirmed!

Confirmed by Keith Smith is all I can see. In the past he's "reported" things shockingly shortly after they've popped up in other places. I'm not saying he lifted that from here, but I'd say there's certainly a chance.

I tweeted it at him, sure wish he would have atleast gave me a shoutout :( dang maybe I should put NBA after my handle...

Who knows I'm just speculating off what I saw but I tend to get obsessive compulsive about the Celtics!

Hire Parish as big man coach...and connection.

The bong hits would be epic, dude.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I have a feeling this is why we are seeing Young play more, get a pick and some cash and make room for Sanders.

He's been away for a long time, Jordan was gone for a season and a half and he was really rusty. But good thing is, Sanders just has to worry about rebounding, blocking shots and anything else would be a huge bonus.

We are not getting a pick for Young.  Not even from Doc.

With several teams still under the salary floor, odds are good he'd be claimed, no? Seems like we could very easily cut bait with no repercussions.

Correct.  We might give up a late 2nd to trade Young if we felt we needed the cap room to sign Sanders (wouldn't want to gamble on someone not claiming him if we needed the space), but even that shouldn't be an issue, since we have the room exception, and having been out of basketball for a couple of years, even that seems too much for him.

I was kind-of hoping for one of those contracts we offered Javale McGee a couple of years ago that was essentially the league minimum for the rest of the season with a team option for next.

Sanders has a lot of money; now he has a lot to prove he belongs on an NBA roster long term (and we have minutes to offer). I would be more than happy to give him a shot and with pot now legalized in Mass, it really is a match made in heaven.

Yes, please. I'd love him in BOS if this is possible.

I have a feeling he has lost very little during his time away.

That quickness, length and great timing on those blocks is noteworthy to me.

It's still not legal in the NBA, so that's not a good selling point.

You and I both know that the rules regarding illicit substances in the NBA would be flat out ignored by some players.

I used to be totally against signing him, but our big man defense and rebounding are so pathetic I'm kind of excited just thinking adding Sanders to this roster.  I still think he'll mess his career up again in the long term but we could sure use him now and the cost is minimal.

But what about Cousins? Just kidding. I'm glad I didn't waste any time thinking about him. By the way, there is a good long article on Cousins on ESPN. Cousins would have disrupted everything. Sanders can slide into a nice role we've been waiting years for someone to fill. And he's free. And he seems ready to finally be a basketball player.

Others saw this coming about a month ago. I've been mentioning him lately. It's been the most obvious move to make for quite a while now. I hope it happens. And as obvious as it seemed to some of us, it had feel the same to Larry and Danny.

I hope this isn't a false alarm.

If we get Sanders, then we must finally be championship contenders. Hallelujah! Yeehaw! And Yay!

You obviously missed the entire point of that article if that's what you got out of it.

I get the feeling that Cousins isn't leaving SAC, so Larry Sanders would be a great consolation prize for me.

What's the soonest they can sign him?

Like could he play as early as later this season? Or no chance.

Larry Sanders could go a long way toward finding the cure to what ails this team's rim protection issues when we match up against the elite. Hop aboard big fella!

A lot of points were made but the fact is that he gave every coach he's ever had problems including Mike Malone.

At this point, beggars can't be choosers. See what he's got. He's cheap.
