Great hoop by Rozier. That's the kind-of move that makes it tough to give up on him.

I know Stevens is a great coach and blah, blah, blah but starting Mickey is ridiculous, and I say that as someone who wishes Mickey would get some minutes.  You put your best five guys on the court and KO is vastly better than Mickey.  Smart people do the dumbest things trying to demonstrate how "smart" they are.

It reminds me of a game last year when Brad needed to sub and instead of putting in Turner, he sent in RJ and he immediately gave up a wide open three.  Brad got upset and I'm thinking "Why did you put him in to begin with?"

Mike

We could have stuck with a 3 man big rotation between Jerebko, KO, and Horford.  But I'm guessing because it's the 2nd night of a back to back, he wanted another player to help eat up minutes.

Maybe Brad thought he could get away with it.  Hide his weak player in Mickey in the starting lineup, similar to how Doc Rivers started Scalabrine after KG went down.  We all knew Scal wasn't anywhere near a starting caliber player.

Weren't we winning when he came out of the game?

Nope.  Even if we were, I wouldn't have attributed it to him being on the court.

Zeller and James Young with mysterious injuries and ilnnesses.

The conspiracy theorist in me says there is a trade in the works.

Sounds like he is hitting up Dallas for Bogut

Zeller and Young isn't bad for a player you don't want anymore....

I'm hoping for more.

You're kidding me. Smart in the PnR actually works, especially with a big who actually rolls instead of pops?

And, again, Rozier handling the ball and initiating the offense instead of Smart for some reason.

It makes me almost wish Zeller was playing. He'll at least roll to the basket
I'm bitter.

The key is the quick pass. Those roll guys have been open.

Yeah, a lot of these cheap calls are the reason scoring is up.

based on play by play and not watching, mickey is doing all right for spot starter. this investment may eventually pay for the team. he just may need time to grow.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

This game shows us how deep our bench is and how good of a coach CBS is. It makes the Celtics a good regular season team.

The problem is having a deep bench doesn't win a lot of playoff series. That's all about talent.
