Could Crowder have possibly taken a worse shot there?

End of the clock. He was given the ball in a pretty crappy position.
They just did that again. Maybe give a guy more than 1.1 seconds to take a shot

Well, the first play was designed to get him a shot coming off a screen from Al.  He rolled with it and took the shot even if Washington defended it well.

Teams can contain Isaiah.  They can't keep him from scoring 20+, but they can take him out of his game.  When Isaiah isn't able score on his drives, he's just not as dangerous a player -- he turns it over and he starts to get skittish in the paint which shows with extra moves and tougher finishes.   This is why a 5'9" guy can't be the #1 scoring option.

I agree

He needs to drive and get to the FT line, so that he can warm up to shooting the 3

otherwise it's 50/50 his game will get going

Crowder is killing me

Me too!

I like the guy but he isn't a NBA starter.

This is some bad offense.

Have to match the bad defense somehow.

All he can do is jack up the 3. and if it's not wide open, he can't make it

We need to get Al more involved.  6 points on 6 shots isn't going to cut it when we're this shorthanded.

I still think Otto Porter should be a free agent target next summer if we miss out elsewhere.

I always compare him to Mario Elie. Great bench 3 and D guy.

well, at half time the celtics trail by only 4 after playing what looks to be poor defense and enduring hero ball by IT. plus, FIVE celtics are out injured - 2 starters and one rotation player among them.

on the plus side, the celtics are defying the posters at the start of this thread who predicted a dire rebounding slaughter of the celtics. celtics winning the boards 22 to 20, so there is that.

a strong second half and the celtics get another win.

nice to see mickey step and play credibly in his start as well.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I find it amazing that our identity was able to change this drastically from last year with very minimal personnel changes.

I'm convinced the Monstars came down and stole our defensive identity over the summer and left us with an entitled attitude that thinks we can simply outscore opponents and win.

It's a hoax, clearly.
