Fact is Crowder was upset in the Utah game, which is why me drilled everything he threw up. Since then he has been on a downward spiral and his D is TOTALLY non-existent. Possible he's checked out mentally. Bradley would have definitely helped, but if we don't get a rebounding shot blocking big none it this will matter because we won't go anywhere near ECF.

Marcus played Demar perfectly early in the game.

Why Brad, why?

It's not Brad they are forcing switches, but most of you people don't understand that
Presumably Brad and the players would have understood that and done something about it

When they took Smart off of Derozan is when he went off on Jaylen and Green. Then they just started making IT switch onto the bigger Derozan, and there's nothing he can do because he's so small.

Very disappointing play down the stretch. This should have been a win.

I still think we're the better team.

We may be a better overall team, but it seems the difference is DeRozan, and it's large enough for them to win in a series.

two take aways from this game...

Danny go get me a BIG.

Boston fans have totally ruined Crowder's mind... he may be done.

We say this every game and yet nothing is done. Actually we have said this for multiple years and we have got 1 solid big Al Horford. Ainge has his head up his 4ss to be honest

Al Horford is NOT a big.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
We missed Avery's shooting and his defense tonight.

  • GOT IT!!!
Can't beat that unless you get another scorer to go with IT. Horford just doesn't give enough on offense.

Why don't NBA coaches doubleteam players more when they're going off?  They see one guy essentially beating them by himself and they rarely ever decide to just double them every time they cross halfcourt and force someone else to make a shot.

Look, at some point the results speak for themselves. Crowder looks mentally broken.
he is just not good

Crowder will be fine.
So will Jaylen

How do they get more from Horford? He's been terrible two straight games. At least Crowder is cheap.

Just tuned in. I guess Boston failed the test.

We missed Avery's shooting and his defense tonight.
His steady presense also when things started to fall apart.

Mike

Because 9/10 on a pick and roll it will be lob because the big can't get over fast enough to fully trap the ballhandler.

IT hero ball;

Crowder mentally taking himself out of the game;

Terrible rotation and defensive assignment decisions by Brad;

That's what lost us this game. Getting outrebounded by 16, yet Brad has the audacity to go small. And what happens? We get blocked several times in a row and give up several offensive rebounds.

It's as much Danny's fault as Brad's fault for not giving him competent bigs to work with, but Brad has an unhealthy obsession with going small that has killed us more this year than it has helped us.

Jae looks bored down the stretch. I feel like asking him to play tonight was a huge inconvenience.

It's completely ridiculous. He is absolutely not acting like a professional right now.

I'd bench him for a game if I was Brad. He's a major part of the reason we have an entitlement attitude at times. This is inexcusable after his little outburst.
