With Zizic joining us next year, and the prospect of a guy like Giles, I think our future underneath is going to be very solid. That is where we are weakest currently. It will take a couple of years for those guys to really contribute, but I can wait.

I think I'll wait on Zizic, given this board's penchant for overreacting to Euros.

Little early to be counting on him.

I'm interested in your general assessment of Giles.  He looks both talented and athletic for an NBA big, but what about his knees? Would you draft him at #3-5?

Absolutely not.  Too many other great options: Ball, Fultz, Tatum, Jackson, or Fox.  I'd draft anyone of them over Giles.  Too much risk with the knees. Two ACL surgeries already.

I wouldn't either and draftxpress has him at #13, but Bo generally has a lot of comments re: prospects that I think are interesting.

Hypothetically, what if the C's trade down to get Philly's #2 and likely #7 (from the Lakers), then would you be fine taking Ball/Tatum at #2 and Giles at #7?

Kinda along the same though, but I do believe that knowing Danny, he will try to trade back, aka Bill B., and get a #2-5 PLUS a sleeper player (aka Jae Crowder).

This game is proving my point.

Adding Butler or Hayward does not make us legit contenders...

We still have quite a few holes/needs.

I think it depends on what you think Giles will become. You have to remember that he is about two months behind all these players. Lets see where he is the end of next month. To be honest, I think if his previous rehab is an indicator, I take him in that 3 -6 range for sure. I dont consider taking Fox or Ball (not a big Ball fan) over him if he shows any signs that he will be what he once was.

I would like that route.
