Oh yeah, this is huge news set to dominate Boston Sports talk radio for the rest of the week huge news. Proud I broke it on CB.

Don't take too much credit, JSD - jpotter had this to say at 10:34pm in the game thread last night.

I guess Jae got a little upset that some of our fans were cheering on Hayward in the intros, presumably due to wanting him as a free agent. Going to be interesting to see how that would play out if getting him as a free agent put Jae back to the bench.

It was then discussed for a couple of pages there before you 'broke it' about 1 1/2 hours later in this thread.

As for the actual story, I am really disappointed in Jae. I get that everybody has the right to be upset about whatever is ailing them, but not on social media, and certainly not at a fan base who has supported him so much. He has gone from being my favorite Celtic to definitely not...bummer

I made it a thread with since deleted screenshots that I uploaded myself. But don't worry, you probably got more love (tps) for saying, "YES!" in the game thread or making a fantasy trade. That's the way it works around here. So don't worry, I didn't get "too much credit".

Can we just not go racial on this?  The argument for it is weak and I'm not in the mood.   >:(

Yeah, Crowder for Vuk, I do it.  Not sure if it can be expanded, but I don't want Green back.

Tell that to Jae, IMO it is pretty clear what he is insinuating when he spells can and call with k's.....

Tying in a racial dimension to this story is utterly ridiculous. Par for the course of the times we are living in though I suppose. People see racism where it doesn't exist or just flat out make it up.

Why else would he spell those words like that when he has never done that before? Just answer that one simple question....

Rozier does the same thing. Should I dig up the, "Is Terry Rozier in the bloods" thread from over the summer when he was doing the same thing? It's a millennial/Twitter thing.

man this thing has really gotten too deep with the fans. I think Jae should be fine, this is only the internet reaction.

It seems awful strange to me when he has never done it before. "You kan kall it whatever you want". I don't think Jae is racist or the majority of c's fans are, but its clearly what he is implying.

I am not giving him a pass saying it a twitter thing, and I love Jae as a player.

I linked the thread. Rozier does it too in a completely different context. It's slang/twitter speak.

So he has never done it before, but all of a sudden does it when he was feeling emotional like Brad said. Sry not buying it. Doesn't mean I want to run him out of town, but its not good IMO

JAE CROWDER on Twitter: "@GlennDOrdway < NOT AT ALL JUST STATING SIGNS OF DISRESPECT. U KAN KALL IT WHATEVER U LIKE"

This tweet to me has racial undertones. He spells kan kall it with k's. A lot of people have been doing this on Facebook since Trump was elected , referring to the kkk.

Either Jae is not literate or he is saying its racism because c's fans want a white guy to replace him.

I understand his frustration, but this is just dumb.

If that's what he's implying then I'm sorry he does not belong here. The last thing this team needs is locker room problems. This team already needs help with rebounding woes and rim protection.

This might get really awkward in the future...

- What if Danny trades Crowder in a deal at the deadline?

- What if the Celtics still sign Gordon Hayward this summer while keeping Crowder?

I get this is all business and emotions shouldn't get in the way in trying to build a contender... but doing any of those "hypotheticals" could really spark flames especially after last night's fiasco. Especially the "Crowder possibly being traded part".

I LOVE Crowder and think his defense is lethal and needed to guard guys like LBJ... and his offense isn't horrible.. but still a work in progress. I have no problem with Crowder at all. Where Hayward excels in offense, he is an average defender, and Crowder is the opposite (average scorer overall, but exceptional defense/hustle).
