Meh, I perfectly understand his point and I fully agree with him making a fuss because he is having one of the best seasons in his career. He's actually around hayward's level if you take defense into account and with his contract, I don't see why in the world would be wanting hayward to replace him. Jae has a very good reason to be p---ed and I think it's absolutely normal

In fact I respect him even more because now I know he'll up his game when he's being disrespected

There were a lot more tweets that he deleted. Talks about how he "has no problem leaving" and "Knows he'll be appreciated elsewhere"

This isnt good

Crowder is great.  I think he steps  up and the crowd gets behind him.

Fans are disrespectful what else is new.

I agree with him.

Worst thing I ever heard was an mvp chant for Kobe at the Garden, but at least Kobe was quirky of that level of praise.  Hayward isn't worthy of that kind of stuff.  Especially when we're playing well.

Jae's finally realizing that the typical Celtics' fan is among the worst human being on earth.  The worst part of being a Celtics fan is other Celtics fans.

Treni reporting that there was a lot of back and forth going on between Crowder and fans on Twitter so I don't doubt it.

I am really really mad at our fan base. I completely understand why Jae felt disrespected. He knows what going on, he knows that if he sign Hayward this off season, he will likely be traded and to hear your fans cheer for the person that might replace you would p--- me off.

Then I saw that Jae is also replying to fans on twitter so it is clear that he is reading all of the tweets send to him, and I see this celtics account called Forever Green who tweeted "Truth is we drafted your future replacement 3rd overall @CJC9BOSS so you gonna get mad if we cheer for Jaylen too?" then deleted their tweet shortly after. This tweet got me so mad, it is down right disrespectful to Jae as a player to tweet at him that we already have his replacement on the team.

Jae plays his heart out each and every night for us and we treat him like this??? This sickens me!

There are good fans but there are a lot of idiots out there.  The media is just as much to blame and can be terrible.  I always like listening to Tommy blow up.  He has to keep it in check of late which sucks.

It's not limited to Celtics fans.  Fans of any sports team can be poisonous.  Fans are why these players and organizations succeed, but they can also be a contributing factor in their failure as well.

I was at that game. It was a down season and there were a crazy amount of non Celtics fan college kids in the building. Saying "Celtics fans were giving Kobe the MVP chant" has always been utter nonsense.
