agreed...
Celtcs play better with that 9 man rotation ...
Give him more minutes ... Cant keep Jorekbo ands Olynck on the floor at the same time

Also worth noting great game by Smart!!
Took advantage of a smaller guard and just backed into the basket for 6 points ... When dude has control he can ball out

Brown should keep on gunning, he got 10 pts in only 12 mins last night! What does Brad want him to do!? Score 40 in those 12 mins!? He always seems like one of the more useful players on offense we have, he's better than James Young the moment he was added to the squad. He's clearly ahead of where Smart was offensively, his defense looks like a rookie's but a very capable one!

I think his defense is better then what people think. He has the ability to make up for mistakes with his speed.

There was one play last night when he forced the guy to pass the ball out from a fast break because Brown was shutting his angle down, then he helped on the pass and then the ball swung to the guy in the corner and Brown was able to sprint and contest that shot also even tho it went in. Brown was able to apply pressure to all three guys in that sequence just from his effort and athletic ability. I thought it was pretty impressive how much ground he was able to cover.

Not until after the trade deadline. We don't want other teams holding out for him in negotiations.

Brown is probably untouchable, at this point.

giving jaylen manageable bites while slowly increasing takes away pressure and self criticism
rozier showed well early but had a bad patch and pressed making bad decisions
smart has just been so in control lately and engaged
love green on sidelines he is engaged
love when jaylen smacks his hands on defense,he is engaged
-this home stretch is good for everybody

Well, he probably wants him to have a positive +/-  :P

Really, though, the fact that he played last night while Green and Rozier stayed glued to the bench is a great sign.  Hopefully that continues.

And the end to end block was awesome

I don't really mind the way Stevens is using him at the moment.  Slowly working in the 20 year old rookie.  Celtics have the luxury of not having to rush him.

Would rather not see him included in any deal unless its a bonafide attempt to put this team over the top (and I'm not sure there is a realistic move out there to accomplish that).

This is the big thing for him.  If he can manage to get down the mental aspect of defense (i.e. positioning), then that combined with his explosiveness will make him elite.  But if he starts to rely on his ability to make up for his mistakes with athleticism instead of preventing them, that could become an issue.

He's smart, though, and with Brad looking over his shoulder and three very good defenders that can act as mentors, I think the first option is more likely

I agree.

Stevens has said before his end of rotation would depend on the match up and I think that is how it seems to be going.  He plays Green if he really needs scoring.  Zeller if he a needs another big.

I think Jaylen has had some good games.  His minutes have been a bit spotty, but I think if he plays consistently and defends consistently he can lock those minutes up and I like holding him to that standard and not rushing him.  I really have no complaints about anything with Jaylen so far and I think he has a lot of potential.

He's far from ready but man, he's got it all. I want him here unless Cousins comes back.

TP. Yeah a guy that gifted has more room for error, it's kinda unfair lol.

Jaylen had a good game. Let him string together 10 games in a row like last night then lets see about a minutes increase. He needs to show he has earned those minutes and he has to show consistency to earn more minutes. Just my opinion.
He's been quietly stringing together a bunch of good games. He just doesn't get the playing time for the results to look good.
Jaylen has had 2-3 good games over the last months. Other games he has just added nothing to this team. He isnt consistent and he is only average to below average on defense over that time. He just hasnt esrned the 20 minutes per game that most here want. His his stats over the last 10 games:

MPG. 11
PPG. 3.7
RPG. 1.5
APG..5
FG%  42.5
3FG%  12.5
FT%.  100. But just 2 attempts

This does not show that he needs more minutes. When he consistent that in 11 minutes that he can produce much better numbers, then he should get more minutes

He has consistently made solid plays last month. Even in games he didn't score he has made a play or two that showed what he could had given the team with more minutes and opportunities.

He shot 48 percent. 31 percent from three and almost 5 points in 13 minutes of play in December. That's pretty good for a guy who is the 4th or 5th option.
