I've been noticing the huge improvements in Brown's game recently. He's at a point where he's got the poise and confidence to hang with the more polished players.

I think it would be a big mistake to not increase Brown's minutes. Get him on the post or run some dribble hand offs where he can turn the corner. I think he's got this. Hopefully we see more minutes coming his way.

Not until after the trade deadline. We don't want other teams holding out for him in negotiations.

I don't think Ainge would do his players wrong like that. If they can play they will.

Jaylen Brown is ready... to receive more minutes from the bench. He's still not polished offensively, makes rookie defensive assignment mistakes, and has mental lapses at times. But he's super young, so meh.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

A few weeks of showcasing or hiding a player never hurt anybody. It's not like he would start over Crowder or play over him in crunch time either way.

He does look a lot more comfortable out there and needs more playing time to continue to improve on things you mentioned. I do think his defense is much improved from earlier this year which is a surprise since he gets so little minutes.

I think (really hope) this could be a big week for Jaylen.  They only have 1 game in 6 days.  That's a lot of practice time.  something they usually don't have.  Could be his chance to get better in team concepts on both ends and earn more minutes.  Also could have team and coach gain more confidence to get him the ball on offense.

Yup.  Still gets lost out there on defense.  That is holding him back more than anything.

I would rather Brown backup the 3, and Smart remain a guard.
And Brown's defense is very good.

Impressing Brad in practice is a good way to get more time. I'm also hopeful that a move before the trade deadline opens up the roster for some more time. I think he's ready to be out there 20 minutes a night. But with multiple vets ahead of him and basically every position, something is going to have to give elsewhere for him to get that time.

They do have the log jam but I would even be happy if he was just more involved in the minutes he is getting now.  He posts up a l lot but doesn't get the ball.  they hardly ever run him off picks or anything.
