was a move of the future
brown from outside puts on a good fake then a between the legs crossover that breaks his defender and gets to the basket for an extended finger roll layup-also had a dunk on the break from rozier a bounce pass  not an alley oop
winslow may be better on defense but brown has a quicker first step and is more explosive and possibly better handles

I saw that too, the more I see of Brown the more I love. That move was even more awesome because he out manoeuvred a guard not a clunky forward, the way he runs the court too is a thing of beauty, very Clyde Drexler.

He's really turning into a poor man's Jeff Green.

And who would you have taken with the third pick, smarty pants?

I didn't get to see the game, so thanks for sharing.  TP

People say we need another player who can penetrate the defense.  And we do, but Brown will be that player before too long.  Hopefully by the end of this year, although more realistically by the end of next year.  He's got really nice moves and an eye for the rim.  He just needs to become more consistent on both ends of the court.  The potential is very real.

I know it was directed at me, but if I couldn't trade the pick, I would have taken Dragan Bender.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Hot Take - If the Celtics were like most teams that get the third pick and just hoping to win 39 games the next season, Brown would be starting and putting up enough numbers to be in the rookie of the year discussion.   Being a rotation guy on a team trying to win 50+ and be the 2nd best team in the East isn't as flashy but is pretty darn impressive.

I liked the way he just laid it in off the backboard. He didn't try to monster dunk. The kid is gonna be good.

TP for this
-a fake right go left, crossover between leg ,hesitation and gone to an extended finger roll off backboard a lot went into that one-cool  also a nice jump hook in paint simple and basic but sweet
rozier had a nice one taken away as a charge

in the last game , brown had a classic fade away that looked like a kobe move-
the kind of patient progress he is making has to have fans drooling over the nets picks

green played under control and didn't force anything matter of fact a couple nice assists and seemed happy for brown and rozier-
even the miami coached stated what a good a teammate he was-

He's really turning into a poor man's Jeff Green.
Actually, Jeff Green will eventually be known as the poor man's Jaylen Brown.
